It’s my sweet sixteen!
And again he’s not here…
But I guess it doesn’t bother me anymore…
I’ve learned to replace those feelings of melancholy with numbness
I can see the effort she has put into making this day one of the best days of my life…
She’s become stronger…
She’s become independent…
I feel the pride bubbling within me… to see her like that… It’s like seeing a lioness that defeated her enemy...
I walk over and give her a hug…
She smile’s…
That is by far the best birthday present ever…
