Training. Buto x reader

It has been a scary two day of school. There has been murders here and some people were two scared to even come to school. I would stay home to but a thought came to me of maybe I should join the martial arts club to defend myself just in case.

I was walking to the martial arts club and saw the club down the hall. I was a bit shy to keep walking but I forced myself to go. Plus I don't wanna die by that murderer. I kept walking Intel I reached the door. I payed no attention to the other members but the club leader. He had nice black hair with a bandana on. He also had a robe on. I simply knocked on the side of the door and his attention was now on me.

He looks...kinda cute. I thought. A small dust of blush came on my face when he gives me a smile and walked up to me.

"Hello! Welcome to the martial arts club!" I smile at his welcome.

"Hi, I wanna join the martial arts club...if that's okay.." I say shyly.

"Oh it's definitely okay! Do you have any experience with martial arts?" He asked kindly.

I actually didn't have any experience with martial arts. I was hoping to be trained by one of the people in here, since I guess he was alway busy. This is his club after all. "No actually, I was hoping to be trained here." I say.

"Oh I'll definitely train you! Just go to that booth and change. There should be a uniform there for you." He explained.  I just nodded and walked to the booth.

I walked out of the booth with the uniform on and walked back to...

I didn't get his name...

"Grate! You are officially a member of the martial arts club!" He announced. The rest of the people in the club just clapped awkwardly and got back to what they were doing.

"So before we get started, I will need to ask a few questions." He says. I just nodded in response. "Have you ever been attacked by someone with martial arts?"

"No, I don't think so."

"Okay...have you ever been attacked?" He asked, emphasizing the word "been"

"Nope."

"Well we have a lot of training to do. I'll  teach you the basics...umm." He suddenly paused. It took me a while to process why he paused. "So...does the pretty lady have a name?" He asks.

"P-Pretty?!" He thinks I'm pretty?! I immediately started blushing as red as possible.

"Oh, your name is actually pretty? Well, my name is Buto." He smiled. I attempt to smile to but it came out all...y'know...  He then started laughing a bit. "I'm kidding! So, what is your name?" He jokingly asked with a bit of laugh in his voice.

"Y-Y/n...nice to meet you." I said.

"I could imagine. Now, do you wanna get started?" He asks.

"Y-yeah!" I say with excitement.

Training was, I guess, hard. He was teaching me how to do a proper kick. He even showed me moves of his own. When training, and the day, was over, I went to my locker to change my shoes. After I was done that, I walked out side. I heard a call of my name behind me. And with that, I turned around and saw the one and only Buto. "Hey! Y/n! Wait up." He yells out causing me to stop in my tracks. I wonder what he wants...

"Oh hey Buto. What's up?" I asked and gave a smile which he gave back.

"You left your phone back there! I'd thought I'd give it back." He says.

"Oh! Thank you! I didn't realize I lost it." I thank him and relieved that filled my voice. "My dad would kill me if I lost another phone." I joked.

"So, going home?" He asks.

"Yeah, I am." I say.

"Grate! I'll walk you home." He says while grabbing my hand and walking off. I didn't really get to talk because he was speed walking.

"B-Buto!" Is all I said. He then looked back at me and smiled. I couldn't help but smile to and blush.

Then reality hit as I realized that people were staring as we pushed past them. We were now on the road and he suddenly came to a stop. "Umm, where is your house?" He asked as if he just realized he didn't know where my house is. Because he didn't...

I laugh at how he didn't think this threw.

As we were walking to my house he asked me why I joined the martial arts club. So I simply respond with. "Well, since the murders and that rumor of the murderer might be a student here, I thought maybe I should join the martial arts club to try to defend myself instead of staying home." I explain. He then looks deep into my eyes in surprise.

"Whoa. Your really brave Y/n. But..."

"But...?"

"Your not so good at martial arts yet. But, I'll protect you until you're even better then me!" He says. This got a smile out of me. We just met and he already wants to protect me...how sweet.

Buto continued to walk me home, sit with me at lunch and even hangout with me after school. He was a pretty nice person. I guess I could call him my friend now. Well, the only friend I have I guess.

But there was this thing that never left my mind about Buto. He wouldn't stop holding my hand every time he'd walk me home.

There was this one time where I asked him why he wanted to hangout me all of a sudden, and he said: "it's because what if that monster comes and victimized you? I WON'T let that happen. And also, you're a pretty nice person."

We were recently walking home, well, he was walking me home. And of course, he was holding my hand, and I was holding it back. He was ranting about how many people at the school don't respect his club and he was glad I joined. "Even some people decide to join the a colt club! I mean, come on! The a colt? No demon or ghost will come out protect them." He ranted. "Y'know, I'm glad you joined my club. That just proves you're strong and brave." He told me.

"Or maybe I just don't wanna die, and that proves that I'm a coward." I say like it was the most obvious thing in the world. As we were walking, I could see my house. I was ready to let go of his hand even though I didn't want to. He then stopped and let go of my hand and grabbed my soldiers and now facing him. "Buto-"

"You are not a coward! Don't be silly. You are so brave that even my confidence of being braver is low." He said. I couldn't help but stare at him in surprise.

"T-Thank you Buto! I..." I pause and smiled. "I appreciate it a lot." He then let go of me. "That's what I like about you after all." I say and he gave me a smile. Then, something I thought I'd never do. I kissed him on the cheek and walked off. I could see the face he gave me. Very red, shocked yet surprised. "See you tomorrow Buto!"
