Leaving the store with new clothes on feels great. I haven't had new clothes in a long time. So the fact that i was able to get some that i like is pretty great.
Camila walks alongside me and i'm pretty comforted by the fact that i have someone standing alongside me for once. We make it back to her bike and i turn to ask if we're heading to school and she cuts me off. "Lets ditch today!" she says excitedly. I can feel a smile growing on my face and i really don't wanna go so i agree. I pull out my phone and text ethan.
Me: bro i'm skipping today
Fuckface: alright see you after school?
Me: yeah totally .
I set my phone back in my pocket and situate myself on the back of her bike. And she kicks off and begins to drive. I think back to a few seconds before and think about how she smiled at me. It might seem stupid but i think i may have a crush on her. Her smile is simply so bright. The way she looks in any situation makes me wanna throw away my entire life for her. And i know i'm not one to show much emotion but since she witnessed the aftermath of what happened earlier and she seems to believe my lie i figure that there's nothing wrong with getting closer to her.
Before i know it camila's pulling into the driveway for her house. "I hope this is alright" she says getting off the bike. "I just figured you wouldn't want to go home." can i even call that place home? "Yeah it's no problem." i reply and we head up the driveway. Her parents arent home and her grandmother is nowhere to be seen. We walk into the kitchen
"what do you want to eat" camila asks me. "Do you have any fries?" i ask her. She thinks for a second and then nods she pulls out some shoestring french fries from the freezer. "Hey can you get the tray that's under the microwave?" she asks me and i move to get it. Once i pull it out she covers in in tin foil and pours some french fries. "How long does it say to cook it?" she asks and i check the instructions "fifteen minutes." i tell her she hums and puts it in the oven. "Let's head up to my room while we wait." i make my way to the stairs and she follows close behind me. "So" i begin "what are we going to do today?" she smiles and we sit on her bed. "Today we're gonna chill and watch movies all day." i beam up at her and i know it's stupid but i can really see myself falling for her.
