I wanted to share my sims4 Legacy challenge with you guys! The first gen has a severe deficitency in screenshots because I didn't think about documenting this until after Lucas was born.
Kara had a special dream, an only child she hoped to carry on her family name.
This is her story.
Kara stepped out of the taxi, staring down the giant empty plot of land she now called home.
She pulled her bag out of the car, it contained only her extra clothes, Her Phone, and the $1,800 she had to start her new life.
First she went to the store to buy some basics.
She came back with a tent and a contractor who built her a small shack for a bathroom.

"Alright," She said to no one in particular. "I have everything I need."
She pulled out her phone and quickly applied at the police station.
"Finally my Police academy training will be of some use!"
She was distracted by her stomach growling.
She slapped her hand to her face as she realized she forgot to save enough money for food.
Kara went to bed hungry that night.
She had a good day at work and finally bought that cooler!

After several days Kara had gotten several promotions and she felt it was time to find someone to share her life with.
She singed up for the dating site 'Legacy Loves' and soon enough had scheduled a date with a man named Christoph
After forever of standing outside the library where they were supposed to meet, Kara had to admit she was stood up, so she went inside.
"Kara! I was worried you weren't going to show!" Christoph Smiled at her.
"I was waiting in front of the building where we agreed."
"Did you get my text? It was hot so I went inside."
Kara pulled out her phone to find Christoph had indeed told her about the change of plans.
"Oh,"
After Kara apologized and Christoph reassured her multiple times The pair sat down to play chess.
They talked for hours, Kara told Christoph about her dream, and he was encouraging.
The date ended way to soon, but with a promise of another Kara left happy.
The days flew by and with a new promotion came enough confidence to ask Christoph to move in with her.
He gladly agreed and soon they were living in the tent together.
Kara knew he was a doctor but she did not know he was the head surgeon.
His first paycheck came as a shock to Kara, with a 2000 per day income that was more money that she had ever seen in her life.
His job never changed anything about the way she loved him, However it did help in constructing a small house for them.
It wasn't long before Christoph led her across the road to the small beach by her house, and proposed right then and there. Kara happily accepted.
The next day Christoph's best friend Genji came to visit the couple, He was not kind to Kara, he seemed to believe that Christoph was making a mistake. And the fact that The couple still slept in a tent in the bedroom seeing as they couldn't afford a bed didn't help at all.
Genji was kicked out of the house rather quickly, but he called later to apologize so he was forgiven.
A few days later the Romance Festival came to town.
"Kara let's go together It'll be a wonderful date!" Christoph suggested over their breakfast mac and cheese.
And so after work the two headed over the find a place bedecked in flowers.
And it was there the two got married, Kara in her party dress, Christoph in his Tux.
A new chapter of their life had begun, and it was looking great.
