Xavier POV

I laid on the bed waiting for Keyanna to get here.

I had so much shit going through my mind I was giving myself a fucking headache.

About 20 minutes later I heard Keyannas car pulling up and her keys dangling in the lock.

She walked in the room shortly after taking her shoes off.

She sat on the bed next to me waiting for me to speak .

I took my time still tryna figure out shit myself .

"Word is "I started breaking the silence "Buddha been stealing from me "

"Buddha? " she asked puzzledly

"Bae, let me ask you this Buddha been rocking with you since high school no breaks.Don't you think if he wanted to steal   from you or take your place  he could've did it by now?" she said in deep thought.

I thought about what she said and she was right .

Why now?

Shit just ain't adding up .

But I know Ima head to trap tonight to get my nigga out that basement cuz I know in my heart that he ain't got shit to do with it.

Then I think who else would do it.

I think and think and only one name comes to mind.

Carter.

But That's my nigga to, we've been rocking since high school but I ain't seen this nigga in forever I guess time changes people.

But what Ima do.

I can tell I've matured because the old Xavier didn't give a fuck  .I'd shot anybody for dumb shit but now I'M older, wiser and I got a family to think about I just can't go killing niggas cuz I feel like it I gotta map shit out. Honestly I just want out this life  but anybody That's anybody knows it's not that simple.

"I'M bout to take a nap " I said getting comfortable

"Alright bae Ima go cook something to eat" she said pecking my lips

"alright" I said before I let sleep take over.

Keyanna POV

I walked into the kitchen looking into the refrigerator .

I decided  that I'd make him he favorite to ease some of his stress.

I pulled out some ribs,ingredients for my Mac and Cheese and a couple bags of strain beans.

About 2 hours later I had this kitchen smelling wonderful.

I even decided to make him some chocolate cake.

I figured since I couldn't do anything to help business Ima make sure to keep the house tight like I've been doing so home will be a no stress zone.

I plated the food and placed it on the table calling Xavier down .

He came down the stars smiling smelling his favorite.

"You tryna seduce me Keyanna?"he said jokingly walking towards the table.

I laughed "no fool,if I wanted it  I could have it. No need to  seduce you." I said to him still laughing.

"Yeah well see "he said taking the first bite of food.

After about an hour we were heading up the steps for our second  dessert.

When all of a sudden our door was kicked in and about 50 swat members came knocking us down.

"Are you Xavier Wright "the police officer said pressing his boot in Xavier's neck.

I kicked and screamed trying to help my man.

"Yea I'M Xavier" he answered in a grunt due to all the weight on him.

"Xavier you are being arrested for drug possession  distribution, and illegal weapons. You have the Right to remain silent anything you say can and will be held against you......"the officer rambled on.

I started crying I can't live without him I just can't.

They hand cuffed him and started dragging him out the house.

"Look at me" Xavier said sternly I looked him in his eyes.

Baby be strong Ima be back soon tell my babies I love them and take care of treasure.

I look at him and nodded.

"I love you too and I will "I said strongly stopping my tears.

Take care of treasure is a code word Xavier made up a long time ago it meant I was to clear all safes and valuable items out the house immediately before they came to seize the property. It also meant to go to the trap and remove everything from there as well.

"all clear "the police officer said angrily after he ransacked our entire house.

"He said it should all be here,  do you know how much shit I'M going to be in. "

the cops whispered angrily to eachother.

"I'M going to kill Carter "the police officer said storming out the house.
