Staying up till 4 AM texting someone wasn't Jungkook's strong spot. On Friday's he usually got up with plenty of time to spare. But since his sleeping schedule got thrown off he had to be woken up by ice cold water.

I don't think Jungkook regretted it either.

So now he was running around his apartment looking like a mess racing against time. Time available: 20 minutes. The studio was at least a 15 minute walk by itself. He had to be fast if he wanted to make it.

He soon finished and was out the door but to his surprise Yoongi was still there.

Clearly knowing by the face Jungkook made, Yoongi spoke, "You really thought I wouldn't give you a ride? You only have 15 minutes to get there and the walk is 15 minutes. Come on, I'm not heartless."

Jungkook rubbed the side of his neck in shame. He needed to stop thinking that no one cared for him.

"Thanks, Yoongs. I really appreciate it." Jungkook said softly.

Yoongi opened the driver side door, "Stop being so emotional and get in the car. We don't have much time."

Jungkook simply nodded and went to the passenger side and got it.

Yoongi pulled up to the studio where Jungkook took his vocal lessons at.

Yes, Jungkook was a barista, but that wasn't what he really wanted to do.

He wanted to be a singer.

Jungkook had first figured out his passion during a night out with his old high school friends. Ever since then he has been trying to better himself at it.

Well oddly enough, all these years later, he managed to get lessons from one of the best in the business.

His vocal coach was rumored to be the best in all of South Korea.

It was the one and only, Park Jimin.

See, Yoongi knew this. And he also knew that if Jungkook was to be late again his lessons would be cancelled. He knew Park Jimin had standards for his students and being late didn't meet them. With this in his mind, he drove a little faster so Jungkook would have some time to prepare himself.

Oh, I didn't tell you? Well, today, out of all the Friday's he could have been late to, was a very big day for Jungkook. Jimin had given him a huge assignment and it was due right when his lesson began.

He had to write a song and perform it.

Yoongi helped with the producing but Jungkook did all the vocal work.

If your vocal coach had the voice of an actual aNgeL, wouldn't you be nervous to perform in front of them?

Preparation time was a must in order for all the nerves going crazy in Jungkook's body to calm down.

"Thanks, Yoongi. For helping me with the producing and thanks for giving me a ride and making sure I was up." Jungkook said even more softly.

"Jungkook you know how I hate being sentimental. It was no problem at all. Just go in there and show Park Jimin that you're going to be one of the greatest." Yoongi smiled.

Jungkook got out of the car and started going towards the entrance, he made sure to wave at Yoongi before he went in.

Once he was inside, Jungkook started humming the tone of his song. He walked up the stairs and reached the room he needed to be in. He took a deep breath when he realized Jimin wasn't even there yet.

Taking advantage of the situation, Jungkook decided to use the few spare minutes he had to practice his song again. He had to do it A Cappella since he wasn't sure how to work the technology for the music.

"Deep breath in, deep breath out. You got this."

What were the lyrics again?

"Oh gosh. Control yourself. You got this."

Deep breaths. Remember what you practiced.

"You are the cause... Of my euphoria.."

Confidence is Key, Jungkook. Be confident. Breath. It's not like he will completely destroy all of your dreams when he grades the song you actually poured your heart into making.

"Oh my gosh."

Stop shaking. He will be here any second. Calm down. Breath. Confidence. Think of your friends. Calm.

"You okay there?" a stranger asked after watching Jungkook for a few minutes.

"Y-Yeah. I'm good to go," Jungkook stuttered. He was still clearly shaking.

The stranger still continued to question, "Are you sure? You're shaking. Do you want to sit down or do you need some water?"

"No, I'm good. I'm just nervous." Jungkook lied.

"About what?" the stranger got Jungkook some water anyways.

After kindly taking the water from the man, Jungkook confessed, "I have a very big assignment due. I had to write a song and perform it in front of Park Jimin himself. Today is the day and I'm completely terrified. He could literally crush me with his evaluation and grade."

"Well try and look at it from the bright side, he could really enjoy the song and compliment you. That would really raise your self-confidence in your voice." The stranger mentioned.

"I guess you're right. So technically I have a 50/50 chance of either happening. I'll try and calm down. Thanks for the water." Jungkook said.

Park Jimin came in after Jungkook finished his sentence. He looked happy to be there. Well, he looked happy since the stranger that was with Jungkook was there.

Running up to the man, Jimin reached his arms out, "Ahhhh Tae! Nice to see you make it! I see you met my student. Please, make yourself at home!"

"Thanks Jiminie~" the stranger smiled, it looked like a box. A cute box.

Jimin noticed Jungkook looking confused, "Today your assignment is due. I brought a close friend of mine to help me with the evaluating and grading. Please begin when you are ready."

Jimin and the Tae guy sat down behind a table with stacks of papers on it.

A tech guy asked Jungkook for the track and soon the music filled the room.

Jungkook began singing with confidence after hearing the track him and Yoongi worked so hard on.

After a few minutes of nothing but the heavenly vocals of Jungkook being heard, the music came to a stop.

Jimin and 'Tae' started plotting down notes and sentences and discussing with each other.

Jungkook just eagerly waited.
