Hi everyone!

I have been working on converting this fanfic into an original work (Baking Pies). I am very excited about it!!!

Matty doesn't mind that his neighbor Terry hides out in his apartment most mornings. In fact, it's something he has begun to look forward to. He enjoys the time they spend together, the friendship they have fostered. He would enjoy their time together even more if Terry wasn't hiding out to avoid his one-night standers who didn't have the "courtesy" to leave before morning. What Matty didn't know was that Terry had been coming over even on mornings where there was no one else camping out in his room. He enjoyed his mornings with Matty more than he was willing to think about.

How will this story be different?

Well, aside from original characters with their own awesome personalities and backgrounds, this story will be a lot longer and include more backstory, more pining and more pie making!! Also, there will be more characters to fall in love with! Plus, Terry is Black and Matty, or Mateo as he lets Terry call him, is Mexican.

I really enjoyed I Have Pie, how is this story similar?

While these characters are my original babies, it doesn't mean they don't share a lot with their inspirations. Plus if you loved the awkwardness and giddiness of IHP, you will get a lot of that here too! Also, Terry works in a startup and Matty is a veteran. Also, they bake pies.

Is baking pies a euphemism?

Nope. They legit bake pies. Rather badly at first, but then they get better at it. But maybe it can be seen as a metaphor to something else... but that won't happen for a bit! Or will it? Or won't it? Intrigue. Suspense. Subscribe!

You have a really bad rep at uploading consistently...

You are totally right, person I made up to ask me these questions! I DO have a very bad track record at uploading consistently. That is why I will wait until I have a few chapters written on this story and then schedule them to post while I write more! That being said, I am working on a few writing projects and also real life can get pretty busy. Uploading though gives me a sense of accountability and responsibility (are those just synonyms?) so even if it takes a bit to upload, I will eventually upload. So don't forget to bookmark/subscribe!! Also, comments are always my biggest motivators! So feel free to leave feedback, seriously it would mean the world to me!
