Lauren's pov
I'm a little worried about Asher, I mean none of us want to mention about Annie because we don't want Asher going mad. Yeah we all miss her but Asher more so because well, I personally think he's in love with her just the way he's like with her. As the bell rang me and Asher walked together since we both had the same 1st period, math. I'm terrible at geometry but he seems to get it, I don't know how though *rolls eyes*. "What are you rolling your eyes about?" he asks me. "Oh nothing just about stupid geometry." "Haha, what grade do you have in the class again?", "A c." I roll my eyes again. We take a seat next to each other, "But really ash, how are you doing?" I ask nervously. "Will you all stop pestering me I'm fine.", this time he rolls his eyes. "All right, all right be that way just know you can talk to me about it if you want." I put my arms up defensively. "Alright class let's get started with today's lesson!" Our teacher says and with that I drop the subject.
Asher's pov
It's lunch time now and I'm starving, I had quickly gotten used to getting food whenever I wanted over the break and I'm now suffering the consequences. But as I'm getting into line to get lunch Johnny gets in the line with me. "Hey buddy how's it going?" "Why is everyone asking me that!" I say a little angrily, I didn't mean to take it out on him but he just happened to be the one who asked me it. "Woah man calm down, don't take your frustration out on me." He's say calmly, "Sorry, it's just I've already been asked that three times today and I'm just getting really annoyed by it." "No hard feelings man." He says back, "So what's on the menu today?" He says rubbing his hands together. I chuckle, this guy is always in mood for food.
As we sit down at our normal table the rest of them are already there and are eating their food, Kenzie always brings a lunch because she's literally the pickiest person ever and Hayden postmated some chipotle to the school. "Really Hayden?" I say, "What?" He says so innocently, "I didn't feel like waiting in the long line." "Well maybe you should get here earlier, instead of taking your sweet dear time walking." Kenzie says in the most sarcastic way ever. We all burst out laughing even Hayden who was also rolling his eyes. If only Annie was here... Kenzie whispers to me, "We miss her to, we all do." "If only there was a to get her back..." I whisper back. And then it hit me.
