Prologue -
Among the wind he stood. The air blowing through his ever growing hair as he looked upon the valley. It was not what he could recall Been so long since and all he could see was the few patches of grass, crisp-pale green among the bare land.
He pondered on the forgotten lands he stood upon and looked back, closing his eyes taking in the moment around him.
"Why can i not remember?" He asked himself. Talking to himself as he did, being without human contact for so long. His eyes still remained shut, taking in the surroundings that indulged in his presence. The taste of the air was cool, cold and the smell was of rain. The humidity of the air had risen. He felt. The ground around him still, the wind pushing among his still, calm body. For what could lie ahead was unknown.
A crack of lightning struck down of in the distance, he was yet undisturbed by the sudden sound. He remained calm, at peace. Being fixed in the moment he continued to ponder on the fact that has haunted him,
"Why can i not remember?" He tried hard, managing to keep calm in the frustration that was wallowing up inside of him. His eyes rolled around, as if he was searching a room that he could see, without seeing it. His imagination, the memories. But less like a room but more a path. Behind him was yesterday, and behind that the memories he holds. In front of him is the future, something he can only imagine. but to the sides the surroundings and all that lay beneath him, above him and all that surrounded him that made up this world, was black. Unknown.
The frustration of the unknown soon become too much for him to bear. He could feel its presence but he could not see it.
With his peace disrupted he turned focus to the reality around him. Behind him was a large storm approaching, in front was the valley beneath him. Although bare he knew it was full of land mines.
"____ go forward, being aware is your greatest asset" He spat out, talking to himself.
"Say we go though, what is the guarantee of the unknowns legibility?"
"Do not question the unknown, if the known cannot be reasoned with. You move. You move fast. You move swiftly and of all, do not screw this up."
____ lost to another debate within himself, again. But not so lost but also won as it was two perspectives spoke through the one embodiment, his vital asset in his survival. A large storm was approaching, one no man, animal or being would ever wish to be caught in. Sadly he had learn that the hard way previously.
It had cost him a almost severed left arm, right forearm and left leg being fractured, lungs almost filled with water. He was barely conscience and stripped of everything he carried. Left to die by mother nature in his sever state.
He looked behind him, clarifying what he was escaping he turned back and took a dive. No hesitation needed. You could say, his balls were as big as any man could have seen. Not even courage could sum to what he just did. As he firstly tumbled down the bank of the valley he pulled of a rather strong hide that had been rolled up and slung from his back. The hide was wrapped around two metal pole which had a distinct slight curve at the end facing each other. He positioned himself for the final tumble, launching himself of the ground with a large spring in his feet.
He held the curved parts in each hand firmly. During his slight moment of air he had pulled out a sled of some degree. As he landed it allowed him swift and smooth sailing down the side of the valley, over the bare land and the crisp-pale patches of grass.
The air grew still, the wind stopped and the humidity lifted. Was this the unknown that he feared.
"Crap Shanixs.." He bellowed in a harsh tone. He cursed on himself for not foreseeing it, being too busy caught up in his en-devour to look into the darkness of his mind he didn't take note of the humidity change.
