Fear (Caustic)

Imagine that you're out in the ring with your team and you are unfortunate to confront the infamous kill leader, Caustic..

Caustic is my favorite character in Apex Legends now so I had to make a fanfic of this Gas Daddy hehe.

You tried your best to keep calm as you saw on your small device how many squads were being taken down by a squad of just one Legend.

That Legend was the toxic trapper Caustic. He was currently the Kill Leader even though he was by himself.

How is he doing this? If he's defeating all the other squads by himself, he'll definitely take down mine even though we have three members!

You and all the other Legends knew who Caustic was. His real name was Alexander Nox but he didn't go by that. No one knew where he came from. His real name was all everyone knew about his background.

Now he was infamously known as the murderous sociopath, Caustic, who used toxic gas to painfully kill any rival squads.

He was an expert at placing his gas traps in certain areas, his favorite being any areas with small rooms and one or two doors only, so that he could activate his Ultimate ability where he took out a gas bomb. He would then throw the gas bomb into the rooms and trap any rivals inside by blocking the doors with his gas traps.

The toxic gas would then slowly and painfully kill the victims and Caustic wouldn't have to do anything except watch as his toxin took affect.

Everyone knew he took pleasure in doing this.

Now all the squads were his victims.

You shivered at the thought of breathing in the gas.

"Two squads remaining." the woman on the speakers announced.

Already? It's only been about 10 minutes? Caustic can't possibly be that dangerous!

You were trying your best to keep calm.

"Listen guys, I know that all the other squads have been taken out by the Kill Leader but we can do this. We just have to be extra careful. " you said to your squad.

Your squad consisted of you, Bloodhound, and Gibraltar.

"The Gods will decide our fates. Let us hope that they blessed us with a victory today." Bloodhound said.

"I believe that we can do it." Gibraltar replied.

You nodded in agreement but you were still terrified. You did not want to have to fight Caustic because if he was able to take down all the other teams then you didn't stand a chance against him.

At this point, the ring was small and there were only a few buildings that could be used as hiding spots.

Before your team headed into one of the buildings, you wanted to come up with a plan.

"Alright guys, I think we all know how dangerous any buildings can be when Caustic is around. When we head into one of those, be extra careful. If you see any of his traps, shoot it at the red base and it will destroy the trap without setting it off. Keep an eye out for him too. Make sure that he doesn't place any traps outside of the doors because he could trap us inside that way and throw his gas bomb into the building." you ordered.

Both Bloodhound and Gibraltar nodded and then you all headed into the first building.

You slowly and carefully walked around, looking for any traps. You went up some stairs and got to the second floor.
