I believe that every person is like a star
There are billions of them all over
They all just float around occupying space that doesn't belong to them
But they make the sky shine with the sparkles of billions of specks of glitter
They make the endlessly lonely sky shine a billion times brighter
Each star gets a chance no matter how big or how small it's important for them to light up the sky
But maybe you can't see the star in yourself
Because maybe it's daytime right now or there's buildings blocking your view
Or maybe you just have your eyes shut tight
And your scared to open them wide because you've been staring at darkness for to long
Someone somewhere can see you shining bright and there smiling up at you because they see your working hard to light up your slice of the sky
