Riley was an extremely observant girl, well kinda, at least more observant than most people in Beacon Hills. She noticed a group of kids in the grade above her constantly skipping school, whispering around the halls, and always appearing to be in some sort of crisis. She noticed Scott McCall act "off" at some lacrosse games and she would always see his best friends become extremely on edge when he did so. She noticed a strange phenomenon of disasters happening one after the other in her freshman year. As sophomore year started she was determined to get to the bottom of whatever was happening.
