Todoroki x Midoriya

4. Hero names

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I changed the beginning of the story so instead of it being a week after the sports festival it is now 2 days after the sports festival. Sorry guys I know I screwed up. Back to the story.

Todoroki POV

I was running. I was running from something, No someone. I couldn't tell who it was though. It was dark. Very dark, like pitch black. I looked behind me and saw that the person chasing me was on fire. I saw a light at the end of the dark tunnel. I ran faster. The man on fire was suddenly right behind me. Then I noticed that the man was my dad. My stupid dad. I ran as fast as I could but it felt like I was running in water. I saw green wavy hair at the end of the tunnel. Their arms were outstretched towards me. "Beep! Beep! Beep!"

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off.

Time skip...

The bell rang right when Aizawa came in.  "Ok class, since we could not talk about what we were going to yesterday we will do that today. Today is all about internships. I will put up a list of who got internships. Some of you didn't so I will pass out a paper of some agencies who are willing to take in some people." The list appeared and I was at the very top with 4,123 internships.  I looked for Midoriya but I didn't see his name.  Then I got this paper with all of my internships. The first one there was my dad. Of course he would do that.

Midoriya POV

I looked at the list and couldn't find my name. I guess no one wanted me. I walked up to Todoroki. "Hey good job getting all those interns."

"Thanks, but it's mostly my fathers influence." 

"Since you guys will be working along side pros you will need a hero name. They are only temporary but you will need to pick something appropriate or you will know true hell." Midnight walked in and headed to the front of the room. "The name you choose now may be what the rest of the world will call you from now on. That's happened to plenty of pros!"

"Midnight will be here to help you all decide on your names."

Time skip...

"Let's finish up. We can start with whoever is ready!" Yuga walked up to the front of the room. 

"I cannot stop twinkling!"

"It would be easier if you change cannot into can't and take out the I." 

"I see." After Ashido, Tsuyu, and Kirashima went I still didn't have my name. Everyone else's names were so cool but I didn't even have mine yet. I did have some but they were too closely related to all might so I couldn't use them. After yaoyorozu went up Todoroki went up next. I've been wondering what name he would choose. It was probably going to be something really cool like All might's name.

"Shoto."

"You really want to use your first name?"

"Yeah."

I was the last one to go up. I had finally chosen my hero name, It had to be this one. 

"Deku."

"You Know that means useless right?"

"Yeah I know but someone helped me see the light and it makes me happy. I am no longer the useless Deku, I am the Deku who gives it his all!"
