Meliodas's baby sister Melody

chapter 3

Melody's POV

~Next Day~

"Big brother we've been searching the woods for three hours!"

"I know Melody"

"All I've seen are trees and branches, I'm getting sick of it" said Hawk.

"Sir Meliodas, is one of the seven deadly really in here?"

"Probably"

"YOU MEAN WE'RE HERE ON A HUNCH!!!" Squealed hawk

Then Elizabeth screamed, I turn around and saw Meliodas, stealing her panties. I don't question him as I walk on into the forest, somehow I managed to get lost but I found someone. I run up to her and poke her face.

"Hey, would you imps quite that!"

"How rude! I am not an imp big sister Diane!!"

"Wait for a minute, Melody?"

"Of course it 's me, who else would call you big sister!"

Diane gets up and picks me up in her hand and rubs her face against my head. I smile and laugh, when brother, Hawk, and Elizabeth come running over. Big brother looked like he about exploded with worry... Oh yeah, I wandered off on my own.  Diane looks down at Meliodas and puts me down, next to him. As soon as my feet are under me brother knock to the ground in a bear hug, I still think kings Bear hug are better.

"Melody I was so worried, don't ever do that again!"

I think I need to pull the crybaby card, "I sorry...I, I d-didn't mean to!" I say as my eyes start to water.

Big brother then freezes, I win, "Mel, hey come on that's not fair."

"I'm sorry Big brother, I just wanted to find big sister..." I say looking down

Diane smirks as she most likely laughs on the inside, she picks me up again and says, "Hey now little Melody is the captain being mean to you?"

Oh, so she is playing along. I nod my head, "Do you want me to help you?"

"I want a big sister hug."

I smile as she brings me close to her face and I hug her.

"Melody!!! Come on, Forgive me"

I then feel like I have been struck by lightning... wait I was trapped in it, everyone was. As soon as I turned around I saw a holy knight, the holy knight Gilthunder. Great now he is going to try and kill brother and sister.

"so we finally meet sins..."

"Gilthunder why are you doing this?"  Elizabeth shouted.

I tuned out as it seems I have not been noticed yet, so I escape from the bonds and hide behind a tree. I tune back in when I hear Elizabeth yell again, once she was gone Meliodas and Diane broke free of the bonds themselves. They started to talk so I just sat there behind the tree when suddenly my tree was killed.

"A little girl?"

Guess I should teach him not to mess with my big brother or me. I soon stand up and bring out my wild rose dagger, from it's hiding spot in my left boot.  I use my speed to get behind him and knock him down.

"You hurt big brother..." I say darkly

"What the? Who are you?"

"I am Melody," Lift up my skirt high enough to show my beast mark,

"The legendary eighth sin, wolf sin of Revenge, and You have made a big mistake!"

Diane stood there watching and Meliodas did the same, "Melody, you mean you're the little brat the Meliodas brought with him!"

"I am, now you pay!"

I don't use my magic because if I did I could most likely kill everyone here and I don't want that. So with my speed, I ran and slash at his armour, until Brother yells, "Melody that's enough!!"

so I stop, and Diane picks him up and throughs him far away, soon Elizabeth and hawk come back and I start to feel woozy, "Brother..." I whisper then everything fades into darkness.

Meliodas's POV

"Brother..." was all she had said before she passed out.

"Melody you idiot!" I scolded.

I caught her before she fell to the ground, she must have not used her magic at all. When she does it take more of her physical energy to fight, not only that but she knows that one wrong move and she could die.

"Melody hang in there okay" I turn to everyone else, "Come on we have to get back to the tavern!"

I take off quickly and make it back to the tavern in less than a minute. Once there I ran upstairs to her room, lay her on the bed, and rush around looking for her medicine. I look all over her the bedroom, but I can't find it.

"Damn it!!!"

"Sir Meliodas? What's wrong?"

"If Melody doesn't get her medicine soon she could die."

"Captain, she didn't use her magic did she?"

"I didn't, I'm sorry"

"Melody!! Where did you put your Medicine?"

"I sorry brother, there is none left..." she had a coughing fit, "I have not had time to make more brother, please brother don't worry I just need to sleep a little."

"Alright just rest, little Mel."

I pull the blankets up over her body and sit next to her and watch as she falls asleep. After a good 10 minutes, I got up and walked back down to the bar, and joined Diane and Elizabeth outside.

"Captain, is she going to be alright?"

"I don't know Diane..."

~Time skip~

Melody has been out for a few days now but we have Ban with us now and he is watching her. I just can't stand to see my little sister like that, I feel so useless. I Meliodas, a former ten commandment, and now the leader of the Eight deadly sins, was scared of losing someone again.

"Yo, Captain!"

"Hey ban, what's up?"

Suddenly I'm tackled to the ground by Melody, "MELODY!!!" I shout and hug her

"Hey, brother I am better now!"

"I see, how about we get you some food now?"

"Yeah but you're not cooking, truth is neither us of can cook."

"Hey!"

"Sorry brother but let's face it, we suck at it."

She gets up and runs away from me before I could tickle her, "Ban you think you could make something for her?"

"Sure, what does she want?"

"I don't know we have to catch her!"

We both run off after her, she is fast and tricky so I bet she has already set up traps. Suddenly a log comes fly bans way and knocks his head into a tree, then one comes and hits me... in the manhood... with that, I was on the ground in pain.

"Hey, Cap'n you alright?" 

"I would say no"

"Melody... that was mean..."

"It wasn't meant to hit you there, in fact, it was meant for Ban"

"What?!"

"Yeah ban, but anyway I'm hungry, Ban can you make me some curry and rice?"

"Sure kid"
