Babe's Focus

School?!

Babe has never been good about meeting new people, during the years she's spent in the orphanage she grew afraid of people, because she's been so used to the people she's been with, which were mainly girls. She was even afraid of the boys when she first saw them, but it was their positive aura that Babe sensed when they approached her that day. It calmed her, slightly.

Just the thought of being placed in a school full of people alone, with both male's and female's who are complete strangers terrifies Babe enough to send her to her room and hide in her closet. She planned on staying there for the rest of eternity. She inhales and exhales deeply, trying to prevent any future panic attacks.

She heard footsteps approaching her room and a slight knock was placed at the door. "Babe? Are you awake yet sweetheart?" It was Jimin. Babe wanted to answer, but she wasn't ready to come out yet, "Babe?" Jimin called again. She still didn't answer.

"Babe, I'm worried, I'm coming in okay?" Babe heard Jimin turn the knob and open the door, she heard him enter but his footsteps stopped abrubtly.

"Babe?" He says, a hint of panic could be heard. She heard him shuffle around in the room, most likely trying to look for her.

Babe held her knees to her chest, closed her eyes and rested her head on her knees. Bad memories filled her head, that's when she regretted hiding in the closet.

Seconds later she heard the closet door open and she looks up to see Jimin who looked like he almost had a heart attack. "Babe! Oh my god don't ever do that to me again." He heavily sighed in relief as he kneeled down and pulled Babe into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry oppa." Babe says quietly.

"Oh-?" Jimin pulls back and looks at her in surprise.

"What?" Babe questions.

"You called me oppa." Jimin says, a smile slowly forming on his face.

Babe's face turns slightly red, "Oh, I did huh?" She laughs.

"Hey are you okay sweetheart?" Jimin's voice softens, Babe went silent for a second.

"No." She finally whispers.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't know, I don't like talking about it......it's hard." Babe says.

"Babe, I don't want you to think that you can't talk to us. Right now you're our priority, we want you to be happy." As Taehyung did, Jimin sat crisscrossed and pulled Babe onto his lap and cradled her.

Babe felt his words hit her like a ton of bricks. She's never been cared for by anybody like how the boys do, nor been anybody's priority. She mentally slapped herself for wanting to cry again, she felt ashamed of her tears, but she couldn't hold them in. As her tears start to fall down, Jimin gently rocks back and forth while massaging her shoulder.

"I'm here for you Babe, through whatever hardships you're going through, we're here for you." Jimin cooes. As before, Babe's cries died down and sniffles was all that filled the small closet.

"Now can you please tell what's wrong?" Jimin asks.

"I overheard the conversation that you and the others were having.....about me going to school. I panicked and hid in here. Just the thought of going into a building, alone and with complete strangers, it scares me to death. I'm not used to that kind of thing. But on the other hand I don't want to disappoint the only family that I have now." Babe hangs her head low.
