The fire once lit now fading
The beat of my heart slowing
The ache in my chest gaining
I yearn and yearn for more
Of the love we shared before
I ask life what's the meaning? What's this for?
This pain rising from my very core
Tears on my pillow every night
Wretched nightmares I cannot fight
And some days when nothing feels right
I lie still under the light
I love you in every way
I miss you everyday
I need you needless to say
