Rain thundered down on the gloomy dark streets of Ammestress. The sound of the raindrops hitting the ground drowned out the pitter patter of a young cloaked creatures footsteps. With every step came a splash of water onto her boot. She was running, but from what?
Her pants became louder, each leaving a breath of mist beind her.
Soaked wet with the cold, drizzling rain, the young creature sought shelter. She let out a sneeze and a shiver before heading to the saftey of an unwelcomeing, sheltered alleyway.
No one would come looking for her there.

Blue and red lights clashed into the rolling fog and the slight sound of a distanced helicopter could be heard from above. Sirens blared their noise down the usually quiet and peaceful street. Had they found her?
The creature shrunk into the shadows as far as she could while covering her face with her black cloak. Her breath was becoming unsteady, her heart was beating rapidly. Pools of tears formed in her shining yellow eyes. All she wanted to was to go home. But she couldn't. She was a monster.

Once the light had passed and she could just bearly hear the sirens, the shadow darted out of her hiding place. She ran as fast as she could down the street. A gust of wind aggressivey blew off her hood showing what looked to be a dragon, wolf like creature. Her long blue and black striped ears stretched nearly two feet tall! Her dragon like muzzle was partially open showing many sharp white teeth.
However, although she looked dangerous, the worried, frightened look in her eyes would make anyone think differently.

The blue lights came back. She could see them circling her. The helicopters violent sound was directly above her. How did she not notice until it was too late.
"DO NOT MOVE WE HAVE YOU SURROUNDED" a blast from one of the pilots shouted.
The dragon like creature let out a short, petrified whimper as the armed police and military emerged from their deathly vehicles.
The looked up at the light from the copter and shielded her eyes. One of the men pulled out a large rifle filled with darts. Her eyes grew wide as it pointed at her. Slowly, she backed up but tripped and fell on her rear. Was this it?
