LILAH
His kisses were always so desperate. It was like my lips filled the void that his family dug in his chest over the years. Desperate or not, they mean just as much to me. Life would be so different without Adam. I'm not honestly sure I would even be here. I can't count the number of times he has talked me out of suicide nor can I fathom the effect that his words have on me. Adam is the only person that has stuck by my side since we met. He doesn't ever leave me and I'm unsure why.
ADAM
With every movement of her lips and every slip of her tongue it was being filled. That rivet deep inside of me. I know she craves me just as much as I crave her. I don't know what I would even be without Lilah. A lost-cause, that's what. She has saved me from the path of destruction so many times it's nearly unreal. But I'm unsure of which fact is more difficult to grasp, the fact that she has saved me so many times, or the fact that each and every one of her words bury themselves so deeply into my skin, and they burrow in the depths of my heart. She doesn't ever leave me and I'm unsure why.

As she walked into the class his eyes followed her every step in awe. She blushed as she noticed what he was doing. Adam was embarrassed but confident enough to keep the air tension-free. Lilah sat infront of him. He picked up a thin section of her hair and twirled it around his finger. She didn't move.
"Your hair is so lovely," he said softly to the misfit with red waves.
"Your face is so lovely," she replied softly to the misfit with a few metal rings in his skin.
It was nearly impossible for Adam to focus on the teachers boring lecture because 'why listen to ms. assface when you could be admiring anything and everything about Lilah' he thought to himself.
After what seemed like years, the bell rung and Adam immediately grabbed Lilah's hand and drug her to the janitors closet. He locked the door and put the light on. Soon her arms were pushed onto the wall and in seconds her lips were synchronized with his.
"Lilah, we have something here don't we? We like eachother, right?" Adam said in an unexplained rush.
"Well I don't see how you could possibly like me, but I like you a lot," she avoids his jade eyes.
"You know damn well that you are the most beautiful human being that has ever stepped foot onto concrete," his face is serious along with the words that fall from his lips. She remains silent because she knows she will never win this one.
"Thank you," he continues, "now as I was saying, we both like eachother a lot, and I'm sick of not being able to kiss you all the time and call you mine. So, will you be my girlfriend?" he cringes at his lack of romance. She smirks, but it shortly fades as her insecurities consume her every thought.
"You sure? Don't you see me? Don't you know what a horrible person I am, what a horrible person I've been in the past? Haven't you seen," she hesitates to say, "my scars? My cuts?"
He relases her arms down finally and grabs ahold of one in his left palm. He brings her wrists to his lips and gently kisses them as he vaguely whispers, "We all fight a battle and get scars on the way, some scars are just more visible because the battles were more intense."
A single tear falls from her left eye and she is welcomed into his warm embrace. They leave the closet one at a time and eventually part ways for the last hour of the day.
ADAM
"Yo, Adam!" Ty calls out, "I saw you walk out of there with fire head. Does she like to get steamy?" he tries to make a joke, but his words just aggravate me.
