The female figure jumped off the old white slightly beat-up sedan from the 90s and quickly made her way.
“Eliza?”
He blinked twice and quickly wiped his glasses, putting them on again, hoping for a clearer look, but she dashed out without giving him a chance to do so.
“Wait! Where are you going?”
He ran after her through the halls.
“El! Ellie!” Managed to keep up with her speed, he got hold of her arm and yanked her back. She squeaked and was almost thrown backwards, landing on her feet.
Clink!
Clang!
Two objects from her hand landed on the ground. Both gleamed on the tiled floor. “S-sorry…” Allen bent over, stopping only in the middle of his tracks when he realized something.
“Are those…GUNS?”
She snatched the two revolvers before he could reach them.
“You’re bringing guns to school? Do you have any idea what you’re doing?!”
Ignoring his questions, she went on her way, her light footsteps followed by loud heavy ones by her confused and persistent classmate.
“Hey! HEY! You-- YOU aren’t responsible for the weird things happening lately right?”
Still no answer.
“Tch. Fine!” He ran back the opposite direction, to where the main lobby was.
Have to get out of here! Have to—
He was stopped by an unguarded but impervious locked entrance gate.
I thought there was supposed to be 24/7 security!
“They put the school in complete lockdown once it hits seven. Guards are over on the other side.”
He didn’t realize that Ellie had been following him since he turned his back on her. With that, he felt his soul leaving him when he saw her standing behind him. But as soon as he heard that last part, he started shouting and pounding at the metal gate.
“They can’t hear you, all right.”
He turned around with glaring eyes.
“Ohhh! No wonder random thugs could get inside and trash the entire school. It’s cause NO ONE could hear anything that’s going on in here, the ENTIRE DAMN SCHOOL IS EFFIN’ SOUNDPROOF!! WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THAT LOGIC?!”
