"Nash, please just leave me alone" I tell the boy after he refuses to take a hint and leave me alone.
He lets out a sigh, "Sienna, it's been a month! Please just try. Just trust us. Something!" He's clearly frustrated, but there's nothing I can do. Frustrated or not, Nash is just like every other foster brother I've had. Here for the moment, then gone once it's over.
"Why Nash? Why?" I turn and look at him, "This whole thing is pointless, you're just my foster brother, not my real brother. This is just my foster family, you'll never be my real family."
"You don't know that." Nash says, "I promise if we make an effort, mom will adopt you"
"No she won't, Nash." I shake my head, now I'm frustrated too.
"You don't know that!" He raises his voice.
"Yes Nash, I do." I tell him.
He frowns, watching me, "How?" He questions.
"I was found on the steps of a hospital, no one knows my name, my parents, anything about me really. I was named after the nurse who found me and the hospital I was found at. Nothing I have is mine, not even my own life. See Nash, they don't know who my parents are so they never got custody signed to the state. My parents have custody of me still, meaning, by law, I'm unadoptable" I explain to him, walking upstairs and into my bedroom, shutting the door.
I just want to get out of this place, and I can't even do that, because the two people I know would help me, I'm currently not on good terms with either. Can't say the same for Katie, but I refuse to talk to my boyfriend until he figures out all the bullshit he's got going on with his brother. I refuse to talk to his brother too.
