It was lunch and I tried to find Olivia but I had no luck. I was going to leave the lunch hall until Jason shouted my name.
"Alaia sit here" he shouted. The whole lunch hall looked at me. Thanks Jason. I didn't want to embarrass him so I walked up to him and sat down. Joe wasn't with him.
"Wheres Joe?" I ask. I didn't care but I was just curious.
"I don't know" he replied. Very useful. He had asked me where I had been all this time and I told him how Joe had not called me in 6+ months. He also asked me why I came to Washington. He was glad I was here.
I heard the lunch hall door opening so I looked and I saw a girl walking in with her lipstick smudged and Joe walking in behind her with lipstick on his lips and jaw. And his hair looked a mess. Tears filled my eyes. I didn't want to see him like this.
"Alaia?" He says. I get up and run out of the lunch hall and go into the girl toilets again. "Why does he make me do this" I whisper to myself as I wipe off my mascara.
"Are you ok?" A girl says. She walks up to me checking herself in the mirror.
"Yeh I'm fine" I smile.
"Hi I'm Ava" she said.
"I'm Alaia" I say.
"So why did you run into the toilets" she asked.
"Oh you know when someone you loved stopped speaking to you and cheats on you but then you move to his state and go to the same school as him but hate seeing his face" I shrug.
"Wait what? Who is he?" She asked.
"Joe Waud" I say looking down.
"JOE WAUD? You loved him?" she asked.
"Yeh we loved each other but I guess he was lying" I say trying not to cry again. We hear the door bust open.
"Alaia are you ok?" Jason says out of breath.
"Jason your not meant to be here" I laugh.
"I know Joe is being a dick but please don't stop hanging out with me" he says.
"Wait your best friends with Jason Waud?!" She says.
"Sadly" I say.
"Hey!" He says pouting.
"Come with us to lunch" I say to Ava.
"Sure" She says. We all walk into the lunch hall and everyone stares at us. Joe stares at us. He looks sad. We walk to our seats away from Joe.

The rest of the day went amazing. I walked out of school with Ava. She was telling me how she had a huge crush on Jason. I mentally puked. I walk up to Jason but realise he's talking to Joe so I try to walk away but Joe holds my arm.
"Wait please" he says. Jason walks away. Thanks Jason. I turn around to face Joe.
"What do you want" I say ripping my arm from his grasp.
"I wanted to apologise" he said.
"I still love you" he adds.
"And I don't. Thanks bye!" I say trying to walk away again but he holds onto me once again.
"I really mean it. I didn't mean to leave you. I love you soo much. I'm soo sorry. I hope we could start again?" He says I turn around.
"Why did you not call me for 6 months. You pushed me out of your life. You forgot u had a girlfriend whilst you were out kissing girls. I bet you told them you loved them too" I say my eyes getting teary.
"Your the only person I had said I love you to Alaia. I really missed you I couldn't do long distance. So I drank away my pain... it lead to me cheating on you.. I regretted it the first time but then slowly I forgot about you and just did it for fun" he says his eyes getting teary. I didn't realise everyone was watching us.
"I forgive you" I say. He smiles.
"But we're not going to date" I say. His smile drops.
"But I love you" he says.
"Let's just start again please I don't want to get straight into dating" I say. He nods. I hug him then leave. Ava walks me home.
"That was intense" she says
"Tell me about it" I say.
