Calum Hood. Wow that name. Every time his name was mentioned giggles went throughout the girls' mouths. You see, Calum was probably the cutest boy on the high school campus. With his black and blonde-streaked hair, light brown eyes, and 6 foot physique he was quite the catch. He was the star of the soccer team, an honor student, and the sweetest boy you'll ever meet.

Although Calum had girls all over him, he had his eye on one girl and one girl only: Braylyn Dallas. She was a new addition to the school. Braylyn transferred from California to Sydney at the begging of the semester. To Calum, Braylyn was the prettiest girls he had ever seen. He only paid attention to her but she never noticed.

Like all the other girls of course Braylyn thought Calum was cute and people had mentioned that he was into her but she never believed them. All she could think of was why he would like her in the first place. There was nothing special about her. She had long brown hair, brown eyes, and light skin. To her, she was pretty basic.

Calum had one class with Braylyn, English. This was the class he looked forward to everyday. She was very involved in class which he found adorable. On Friday, after the bell rang, Calum finally had the guts to talk to her. He walked up to her locker, and took a deep breath.

"Uh hey Braylyn." Calum nervously spoke out.

"Hi Calum! Great class huh?"

"Ha, yeah if you count Mr. Schmidt spitting all over you great."

"Oh yeah ew, I saw when he did that to you! That was really gross."

"Haha tell me about it.... So are you going to the game tonight?" Calum really hoped she was. He was starting tonight and he really wanted Braylyn to come.

Braylyn smiled, "Maybe, do you think I should?"

"Uh... Um. I mean if you want... You could... You don't have to." Calum started to get nervous 'oh god she's on to me' he thought to himself as he scratched the back of his neck and started to nervously sweat.
Braylyn took notice to this but she doubted it was because he actually wanted her to come to his game.

"You know what? Yeah sure I'll come." She proudly said to him.

Calum lit up, "Really? Great! Do you need a ride? I could pick you up."

Braylyn blushed. Did he really just offer her a ride? "Yeah that would great!"

Calum grinned. "Alright I'll pick you up at 7." He started to walk away but then realized he forgot an important detail.

"Uh, where do you live?"

Braylyn laughed, "I'll give you my number. Text me when you're about to leave and I'll tell you where to go."

"Okay, that sounds like a plan." 'Ew did I really just say that?' Calum thought.
They exchanged numbers, said their good byes and left the school. The whole ride home Calum was smiling at the fact that he didn't completely strike out.

Braylyn sat in her car while freaking out. "Oh my god maybe he does like me!!!" When she finally drove out of the parking lot all she could think about was 'What the hell am I going to wear?'
