Vamessa's POV
I laughed at how they got on , they made my day honestly. The bell for lessons went and I got up and Jason gave me a kiss and I hugged Grace and made my way to English literature. I went inside and sat in my assigned seat. I took my Great Gatsby out and my notes. The teacher came in and started teaching the class.
"Sorry I'm late miss" Jackson came in and plopped himself next to me
"Hey v , you good?" I smiled and nodded
"How about yourself?" I asked
"Yeah I'm good thanks" he said
I started writing again
"Here's what you missed" I said before he could ask
"You're a star , I'll give it back to you when I'm done" he said
I nodded , by the end of the lesson he had caught up.
"Here you go V , thanks again" he said and I smiled and packed my things away. I left the room and headed to the canteen to get some pizza for break. I picked the biggest slice and got to the till and gave them my £1.10. How ridiculous can they get , adding 10p extra how dare they.
I found Jason , Grace and Jackson all sitting down on our table and I put my bag down and sat next to Jason. I didn't have time to say hi I just wanted to eat my pizza , when I was half way into it I looked up.
"What?"
"Dang , are you not being fed at home? Why are you so hungry that you couldn't even say hey" Grace said laughing
"I'm sorry , I was hungry okay but hey guys" I took another bite into my pizza
"How was English?" Jason asked
"It was good , Jackson obviously came late as per usual" I said and Jackson laughed and Grace gave him the dirtiest look and he stopped laughing
"I'm sorry baby I woke up late" he said to Grace
"Hmhm okay" she can't stay mad at him as you can see
"You guys are so cute I love it" Grace started blushing so much , love that my bestfriend is happy
"Babe by the way we have to make a hit for your brother tonight" I stared at Jason and then at Jackson then at Grace who done the same
"Okay" I sighed
"This isn't okay what do you mean?" Grace started
"Nothing I say is going to change anyone's minds , I'd be wasting my breath"
"It's not that bad come on" Jackson said and Grace raised her eyebrow
"Yeah okay" She said and got up as the bell rang for our next lesson and Jackson followed , luckily I had a free period so stayed put.
Jason , tried to kiss my lips but was greeted with my cheek , I was annoyed but I wasn't going to shout at him or anything. It's his decision not mine. He looked at me then chuckled and walked away. I waited for the teacher to come and take the register so I could go to another room. As I waited a few guys came and sat next to me.
"Hey v , you good b?" Tory said
"I'm good thanks , yourself?" I smiled
"Yeah I'm good b" he smiled showing his pearly white teeth
"So man heard you're dating Jason?" Mark asked
"What would you like me to tell you?" I asked
"Are you dating him?" He asked
"I'd rather let you believe what you want to believe" I said and smiled
"Oh so it's like that then? , I bet if I asked Jason he'd say yeah with no hesitation" Mark added
"Well sorry to disappoint but I'm not Jason" I smiled
"Wow , you know I like you , you're cool" Tory said
"Thanks my guy" they both chuckled
My name was finally called and I was finally able to leave. I walked upstairs into an empty class room and started revising for English , I plugged my earphones in and started bopping to the music. Half way into my studying I felt a tap on my shoulder , I looked up and it was Troy and Mark. I smiled and took out my earphone.
"Yes?"
"Could we join you in here?" Troy nervously asked
"Yes you can" i smiled
They both took seats on either end of me. I decided to keep one earphone out just in case.
"What are you revising?" Mark asked
"English literature"
"That's intense boy" Troy added
"Oh trust me I know"
"Alright don't let us distract you sweetness" Mark said and smiled
I continued revising for the next hour , we had thirty minutes left of free period and I was tired so it was time for me to take a break. I looked up and they were both on their phones. I laughed to myself
"What's funny?" Troy questioned
"Have you guys done any work?" I laughed
"Photographic memory I don't need too" Mark said and I laughed
"I don't revise in school , I'd rather revise in the comfort of my house" Troy added
"Well I revise anywhere and everywhere"
"Because you're a good girl" Troy said
"I'm taking that as a compliment because in a few years all the mandem will be looking for the "good girl" and I will be long gone living life with my husband" I said and they both laughed
"Aight that's true that's true so stay a good girl for man yeah?" Troy said
"Well we will see how things go" I said
"What type of music do you listen too?" Marcus asked
"Drill"
"Wow no hesitation or nothing , which artists?" Troy asked
"Skengdo & am & Abra Cadabra & Russ & IQ & Cadet , Cadets death was so upsetting though but his music will forever live on"
"Say nothing, you're a true driller & big man ting rip my guy" Marcus said
"For real hope he's resting easy , it was unfortunate, do you listen to Tion Wayne?" Troy asked
"Yes I do , how could I not , he's so bloody sexy T Wayne from the nine" I said
