Zach Pov:
Chloe just went to get a drink while I was awkwardly standing on the dance floor alone without a dance partner. One of the popular girls from school comes closer to me and starts flirting at me.
"Hey hot stuff, got a girl? Cause I wanna get some" she said
"No I don't have a girl, but I do have one in mind" I replied simply.
" Aww man are you sure you don't want any of this?" she said while showing off her body
"No thanks" I said while turning around.
As I'm turning around she pulls my wrist and kisses me. I just stand there in complete shock, I then stop standing there and push her off. I then heard a door slam from up stairs. OH NO Chloe saw me kissing the girl. I immediately run up the stairs and toward Chloe's room and knock on her door.
Chloe POV:
I was crying softly in my room when all of a sudden I hear a loud knock at my door
"Who's there" I said with a sad voice
"it's Zach" he said
"go away Zach" I replied
"Please I need to talk to you, please Chlo" he begged.
"No Zach I don't want to talk to you" I said while tearing up more.
I hear him leave and I remembered that my mom had a spare key to my room and I think that he was going to ask my mom to unlock it for him. I started freaking out when I heard a key noise coming up the stairs.
"I'm coming in Chlo" he said.
I started crying more while covering myself with my blanket.
Zach POV:
I was heartbroken when she said that she didn't want to talk to me because every time that she was upset she would come talk to me. Now I know that she truly was mad at me. Once she told me to go away I went downstairs and asked her mom for the spare key that unlocked Chloe's room. Her mom gave it to me and told me to bring it back once I was done with it. I nodded and ran up the stairs.
"I'm coming in Chlo" I said
as i unlocked the door and went inside.
I saw her laying on her bed covering herself with her blanket crying. I walked up to her and sat down next to her on the bed.
"Chlo I didn't kiss that girl I swear" I said
" Zach it doesn't matter we aren't dating so you can kiss whoever you like' she said.
Now that broke my heart when she said it.
