Often is it that we tend to our own dimensions with those we find worthy of entry, holding them dearest to our soft and unguarded soul, as trusted and cherished companions through time we see them as. Lasting memories pinned to a wall of the dim lit room, the flicker of fire able to be seen casted on the wall, warm is the air of a gentle soul whom's hand, placed upon thou's heart the softest hint of music playing with the feeling of a loved one's embrace surrounding thou. Reality, this is not, nor will ever be, but merely a hollow and ashened dream, bitterness and sorrowful memories, what was once a joyful thought now forever tainted, for what we had, now is lost. Days and days again does it feel as though only one heart is burning brightly. in hopes the dying light is never to be seen in anguish, but that the flame is burning brightly, lasting through the vast plains of sorrow and disparity, through the cold aching nights of winter, trembling one's soul, still does it burn steadily hoping not extinguished in vain hardship. The longer time draws on, more and more does it feel as though one soul burns an unshared flame for the other had severed the link. Now cold and alone do we hold the candle close in the dead of night, finding the single and delicate flame, slowly dying, easy to be put to rest with the softest of breezes, just brushing through its weak deteriorating body, relieving it of its strain, surly to put it to rest. We find it to be a gleam of hope to be a source of safety and comfort. Keeping us warm until dawn brings a new day. A new day and a continued flame, still burning in hope, hope that the shared link would reignite, not left burning a dying flame for a soul so sought after, even after it's gone, still does the wait go on. Going on, in hopes not to be without such a soul as one was generously giving.

Now gone without a word, was the link broken...
