Pieces (prowl x jazz)

Chapter 7

Jazz looked down at the pages in front of him as blaster started up the prerecorded instrumentals.. He tapped his foot a little as he started singing slowly..:

"Run away, run away if you can't speak
Turn a page on a world that you don't need
Wide awake and you're scared that you won't come down now

"Didn't I tell you you were gonna break down

Jazz tapped his foot as he built up his voice and raised it just enough to get the point of the chorus across..:

"We build it up, we tear it down
We leave our pieces on the ground
We see no end, we don't know how

He slowly began to sing the second verse lowering his voice again but not a lot..

"Now and then there's a light in the darkness

Jazz trailed off at the end letting a few tears fall as he did.. As soon as the first tear hit the ground he dropped down resting his head on his knees while keeping his hands on the mic.. Blaster quickly ran in to jazzs aid.. They stayed there for a bit then stood up walking out to the bay after Optimus commed them.. They silently looked on to see a few new earth bound autobots.. Blaster handed the disc with the song to Sam who knew what it was and nodded giving it to Mikayla to put in her purse.. They watched as Optimus introduced the earth bound bots..

Jazz smiled at them then one bot caught his eye..

"Prowl??"

Said bot turned his head and instantly lit up at the sight before him.. He held out his arms as jazz ran forward and the two spun around, prowl holding jazz off the ground as they did.. Everyone smiled including ratchet as he walked out of medbay with something small in his arms..

Jazz turned around and smiled at ratchet walking towards him and taking the small bundle.. He looked at prowl who looked back at him with shock in his eyes..

There, in jazzs arms, was a sparkling.. Not just any sparkling though; his sparkling.. Prowl smiled and walked towards him reaching to take the baby from jazz.. Jazz handed him the sparkling and smiled..

"His names staticstep.." Jazz smiled after he said the name and looked at prowl who smiled..

"Staticstep... I like that.."

It was perfect for all of them.. Jazz was finally happy and he was happy with prowl..
