14. Lay (Cute)

You're already on your way to school.

And, when you're about to enter the gate, someone shouted your name. And you turned your back.

" Lay? " You said.

" Wait for me! " He shouted.

Lay, is one of your friend. And he's that kind of guy, who's friends are mostly girls.

" Hi Anne " He said. While he's catching his breath.

" Hi " You replied.

Then, there's still few minutes, before your time. So, both of you tells stories with each other first. You're not that close with Lay, but sometimes you're telling your other secrets to him. Because, you believe in him, that he can keep other's secrets.

" See you later " You said.

" Yeah. Byee " He replied.

While your walking on your corridor. Students are already looking at you. You're one of the famous students in your school. It's because you're smart and beautiful. And almost all of the boys in your batch, like you. But you never like or love someone of them.

While your teacher is discussing, someone interrupted her.

It's the school principal. And you saw that Lay is at his back.

Huh? What is Lay doing here? You thought.

The school principal, explains why there are other students, transferring to another section. It's because, there room is going to be use by other grade levels. So, they're going to stay with you first until their new classroom is already finish.

Good thing, the chair beside you, is empty. So, you're hoping that Lay will sat beside you.

" Okay, Mr. Zhang Yi Xing please sat beside, Ms. Anne Lim " Your teacher said.

After hearing what your teacher said. You already wanted to shout, because Lay is going to sit beside you.

" Lay…Lay…Lay… " You said.

" Yow. HAHAHA " He said.

" We're classmates now. Yehet~ " You said.

" I know, but it's just temporary, after how many weeks, I'm going to transfer again " He said.

" Ugh " You sighed.

It's already break time. This is the first, you're going to have a lunch with Lay only. Because, your other friends are going to have their club meeting today, that's why, they can't go with you.

While you're on your way to canteen. Lay, is telling you some funny jokes. 

" Yaa. Because of you, my stomach hurts " You said.

" HAHAHAHAHA "

" Aish. Stop laughing " You said.

" HAHAHA "

" Aish. Lay. Stop. " You said.

" Hihi. Of course, I'm just joking you. Does it really hurt? " He said.

" No, not really. " You replied.

Is this really Lay? You thought. Because this is your first time to see him like this. Making fun of you, telling some lame jokes, etc.

Then, as days go by. You and Lay, got closer to each other. He's like your brother from another mother. And for you, he's like the clown of your life. Because, everytime you're feeling sad, he'll do funny things just for you to laugh and to be happy.

Then, one day. The principal went to your classroom. The thing, that you don't want to happen. Had already happened. The principal announced that the classroom, of the other section is already finished, so they can already transfer again.

" Ugh. You're not my seatmate anymore Lay " You said.

" Aww. Bye Anne " Lay said.

" See you this break time " Lay said.

I don't have again seatmate. I miss Lay. Even though, I'm going to see him every break time. I miss him. You thought.

And it's already break time.

" You know what Lay? " You said.

" What? " He asked.

" I miss you " You said.

" What? You miss me? But, I'm with you now " He said.

" No, I miss you. Being my seatmate, being my classmate " You said.

" Awww. " Lay said, and hug you.

But, deep inside Lay is also feeling bad. Because, you two are not already classmate. And there's this one thing, that Lay's been keeping for himself for how many years. And that is, that HE LIKES YOU. Lay, always wanted to confess his feelings to you. But he's to dumb, that he can't tell you.

And, also you. Before, you just see Lay as your friend. But, as days go by. You think, you already started liking him. It's because you like those guys, who makes you smile everyday. Those guys, who makes you laugh even when you're sad. Who comforts you if you have a problem.♥

Then, one morning.

" You promise? Our friendship will not change, if I'll tell you this? " Lay said.

" Yeah. I promise. Cross my heart " You said.

" I like you Anne. But, I think it's not just like. I already  love you Anne " Lay said.

Then, you didn't speak for how many minute, you couldn't still believe, on what Lay said.
