Just Friends: Bakugou x Reader

The Fujita Bust

"Fuck!" You grunted as powerful blast of water slammed you into a brick wall and fell next to a smirking Bakugou.
"What happened to 'I got this?'" He teased.
You scowled at him as you both got back up to your feet. "Yeah well the asshole took a cheap shot!"
You both started running back to continue the fight with Mr. Fujita himself.

The tech company known as Fujita Technologies had just been a front for weapons and drugs empire. You two had finally had a break in the case and were able to compile enough evidence to warrant a takedown. Of course, Mr. Fujita wasn't going down without a fight.

Bakugou attacked from the left and you attacked from the right. Bakugou landed a right hook and you encased yourself in energy and baseball slid past Fujita, swept his legs from underneath him, and created a energy dagger to slice the back of his knee. He cried out and toppled over, letting his guard down enough for Bakugou to blast him into the wall.

You got up and started cackling which made Bakugou look at you and quirk a brow.
You wiped away a tear as you tried to get your laughter under control. "We're fighting a big boss."

"What the fuck?" Bakugou growled in confusion.

"Get it? He's like a big boss in a video game, but he's also a mafia boss." You bent over again with laughter as Bakugou rolled his eyes.
Before either of you knew what happened, a huge solid wood bookcase was propelled across the room with extreme force. Bakugou sent out a blast to destroy the bookcase, but Fujita's water quirk doused the flames. You both were hit hard and pinned against a brick wall. You had managed to get your energy fields up in time, but the impact still rattled you.

"Ugh fuck this guy!" You groaned. You let the energy build up in your hands before punching the bookcase back at Fujita. Your blood went cold when you looked over at Bakugou. He had blood running down his face from a huge gash in his head and he was unconscious.

"Fuck!" With Fujita downed temporarily, you dived over to Bakugou to examine the wound. It was deep and bleeding a lot. "Bakugou? Fuck wake up asshole! Bakugou?!" You held his head in your hands and gently tapped his face but he wasn't waking up. Your heart was racing. You needed to end this fight now. You weren't supposed to seriously injure anyone but fuck that. This asshole flooded the streets with weapons, drugs, hurt and killed innocent people and now hurt your partner. You were done playing nice.

Fujita came up behind you with a crowbar. He must've reached the limit with his quirk. Unlucky for him, you heard him approaching. You grabbed the crowbar as he brought it down hard to hit your head. Fueled by rage you stood up and ripped the weapon from his grip so hard he flew forward. You quickly brought the crowbar around and smashed his arm with all your strength. He screamed as his arm was completely shattered. You watched him try to crawl away from you with only one working arm.
"Fucking pathetic." You scoffed giving him a piercing stare and walked towards him

"Wait! I have a lot of money! I could make you rich!" He said holding his working arm up as he trembled and crawled away from you.
"Pass." You said nonchalantly before swinging the crowbar onto his face knocking out teeth and breaking his jaw.

Once making sure he was completely knocked out you tossed the crowbar away and ran over to Bakugou's unconscious form. You focused on your breathing to try to keep yourself calm. You put your ear to his chest and fingers to his wrist to check for a heartbeat. It was slower than it should be, but there.
Kneeling behind him and hovering over him, you brought his head into you hands again. You took some gauze out of a first aid kit you kept on you and applied pressure to his head wound.

"Come on you stubborn asshole. Wake up."

Cops began flooding in to take Fujita into custody. "Wha the fuck happened to him?" A cop asked putting restraints on him.
"Whoops." You said before turning your attention back to Bakugou. "Can I get a fucking medic in here?!"
