Sahir was numb. Will I lose her? I've made a terrible mistake. I could never believe she's not want to be with me alone for even a minute. What have I done? This is so heartbreaking. Sahir sat in the car and as a reflex tears rolled down his face. He couldn't believe what had just happened. Was it too late to make amends?
He reached the hotel and began drinking. The time passes and he realises he has had a little too much for his tolerance. With an increasing headache, he hears a knock on the door. With great difficulty he manages to open the door of his room. He finds an envelope kept there. He opens to read the envelope and finds the divorce papers addressed to him from Maya. It also encompasses a note from Maya stating she does not want to be with him anymore and that she now wants to be with Viren. Sahir should immediately sign the documents and send it back to her. Maya wants to start her life afresh and who better than Viren who understands her so profoundly.
Reading this Sahir's head begun to spin and he had a tremendous urge to throw up. He rushed into the bathroom and puked it all out. He could feel his gut wrenching and his head pounding with a headache. He couldn't stand. He has tears rolling down his face and he starts to howl and cry. This was the end he was trying to avoid. He didn't want to lose Maya. Sahir fell to the floor crying. He could never believe he'd reach such a stage one day. These were emotions pent up for years. The fear of failing and losing was finally taking its toll. He needed Maya to feel better and now Maya had found comfort in Viren. Sahir passed out in the bathroom amidst mixed emotions. Early morning the cold floor of the bathroom woke him and the sudden urge to throw up. His system was now empty but the wrenching of gut didn't leave him. He woke up with the memory of the envelope at his doorstep and rushed into the room. There wasn't any such envelope or note there. The air finally filled into his lungs that it was just his figment of imagination but it felt so real. He needed to see Maya at the earliest. He needed to breath the same air as her. The feeling that he could do without Maya was just a myth. It hit him like a tonne of bricks that he cannot do without her and this feeling triggered multiple emotions. The realisation that he wasn't invincible and Maya was his weakness and that he was madly in love with her.
After cleaning up and still feeling miserable, Sahir got dressed to go and see Maya.Maya woke up feeling restless. She had stood her ground against Sahir but weren't they supposed to be on the same side. These feelings made her confused. She wanted to make a point to Sahir and could never tolerate such behaviour but these were her emotions too. Her feelings at stake too. A part of her wanted to run away from Sahir and never forgive him but there was also a side to her where she wanted to hug him and cry in his arms. Wipe his tears and give him a chance to make amends. Let him hold her, caress her, explain her what drives his obstinacy. Them together dream of a fairy tale future. She sighs deeply hoping whatever the outcome maybe, she will overcome it with all her grace and dignity intact. There's been enough drama already.
Viren didn't want to miss this opportunity. God has given him another chance to let Maya see how he felt for her and that he was capable of providing her all that she deserved. He had lost out to Sahir earlier once, but with respect to Maya, never again! Sahir did never value Maya. He simply gloated about what he had and eventually burnt his fingers. Viren was amused as how poorly Sahir had dealt with Maya.
Arti Choudhary was extremely upset on how her son had behaved. No amount of repentance could bring back the lost time between Sahir and Maya. The hurt would take its own due course to heal. But she feared of this distance created permanent strain between Maya and Sahir. She couldn't bear this pain her son and daughter in law had to go through.
Maya wanted to distract her mind. She wanted to spend some moments of peace. She didn't want her marriage to be a fodder for tabloids. She'd keep her mum till Sahir and she figured out how to go about. To give her racing mind some peace, she changed into her bikini and headed to the pool. At this hour of the day, no one would be around and she could burn away the stress. She swam till her body gave up. After the countless laps, she stopped to see someone sitting by the pool as of waiting for her. Puzzled, she tried to figure out who it was. The wet bikini was too much a sight to offer to a stranger and he sat really close to her robe.
M: Excuse me. Excuse me sir
The man didn't turn
M: sir I'm talking to you. Excuse me?
The man still didn't respond. Annoyed and nervous Maya slowly stepped out of the pool. Her nipples pebble hard. Damn them!
M: Can you please pass me the robe and would appreciate if you didn't turn.
Sahir stood up with the robe in his hand and turned to look at his wife. This woman could kill men with her looks. The orange bikini covered her just enough. His eyes stopping an extra minute to gaze at her breasts. Maya was stunned to see Sahir. He looked tired and unwell.
S: you look fresh. My death is making you happy.
M: my robe Sahir
S: let me help you.
M: I can manage, thank you so much!
S: I know you can, but I can't.Sahir took Maya in his arms and hugged her to never let her go. She was what he needed. He held her too close.
M: Sahir.. you'll wet your clothes. Let me be.
S: I can't Maya. I wish I could. But I just can't.
M: Can we please go to my apartment to talk. I don't think I am appropriately dressed.Sahir holds Maya's robe and covers her. He then helps her hand and takes her towards the elevator.
S: we do need to talk Maya.

Maya and Sahir
FanfictionThis is a spin-off on the other legendary characters played by our favourite power couple. While I love the character names, they may or may not have all the characteristics of Maya & Sahir but they are very much inspired from them.
