"We sure showed Crowler up today," you say, putting your arm around Chazz. The two of you sit side by side on his bed, slightly exhausted from your lengthy school day.

"I know! I couldn't believe the look on his face when we got rid of his Ancient Gear Golem!" Chazz replies, laughing.

"And not a card in his hand or on the field to do anything about it," you add.

Your Tag Duel had gone over well--so well, in fact, that Crowler would likely pick on the two of you in class for a good week or so. He had partnered with Bright, a girl from Obelisk Blue known for her relentless burn Deck, but you and Chazz stood strong, skillfully using your Monarchs to shut them down completely. Cheers of "Chazz it up!" rang throughout the Duel Arena from your classmates upon your victory, awkwardly woven with a few shouts of "(your name) it up!" from those who wanted to support the whole team.

"You know, you're not a bad partner." Chazz smirks at you, though you surmise it's likely an awkward attempt at a genuine smile. "Good on you for not holding the Chazz back."

"I'll only hold you back when you ask me to," you answer with a wink. Chazz blushes. A few moments of only slightly uncomfortable silence ensue.

Finally, your heart skips a beat as you tighten your grip on his shoulder and pull him toward you. As he turns his head to look at you, lips slightly parted, beginning to speak some complaint or another, you shut him up with a kiss. After savoring it for a few seconds, you proceed to gently move the speechless Chazz's head onto your upper chest, resting your chin atop his spiky hair. It droops beneath the pressure, and you feel Chazz shift his legs slightly, bringing them closer to you.

"So," you begin, stroking his hair with a cheeky smile.

Chazz says nothing.

"About last night... Did you have fun?" You hear Chazz exhale as you wait for his response.

"Y-yeah. Of course I did. Why are you asking me that?" Chazz says finally, his voice shaky.

"Oh, just because. It was your first time, wasn't it? I hope I made you feel good, Chazz."

"You did. A-and maybe it was, okay? I've never had much luck with relationship stuff. It's not that I think I'm unappealing or anything. It's just that... no girls ever take the Chazz seriously, I guess. Their loss."

"I'd say." You ruffle his hair. It feels soft against your fingertips. "You really are a dork, Chazz."

"Hey!"

"I meant it as a compliment, you doof."

"Sure," Chazz replies, seeming a bit more comfortable now that you're back to jabbing each other's egos like always. "So, I guess I'll ask you straight up, 'cause we're on the subject and all. Might as well get it out of the way. Are you my girlfriend now or whatever?"

"I guess so. Girlfriend of the biggest dork in the school. What an honor!" You laugh as Chazz groans in protest to your accusation. "It's a joke, silly," you add, reaching down to teasingly tug at his cheek.

"Whaddever," he says, voice slurred as a result of said captive cheek.

You laugh loudly and set his cheek free, relocating your hands to his side instead. You give him a little tickle, then swing one leg over him as he struggles in joking protest. You're now perched in nearly the same position as last night's encounter--Chazz below you, blushing, staring up into your eyes as you sit atop his lap. You wiggle your butt a bit, smiling mischievously. This alone is enough to make Chazz moan quietly.

"Something tells me you're going to be a handful," he says.

"I thought the Chazz never backs down from a challenge," you respond.
