{Prologue}

Hey guys what's up let me tell you this I went to go do the chapter and once I was at around 500 or 600 words I hit a button and it all got erased. So I am going to write it down on paper first then copy it down I hate when that happens. Love you guys.

"Bryn come on hurry up" I saw him looking at me "Col do you hear or see any geeks" he sighed and went back to guarding the front door we were in a tiny market down the road from everyone else "Bry come here" I walked over to him and looked at him "what Col" he pointed to people walking towards the market we are in now.

"Let's go now" he nodded we went to make a run for it to the back of the store where our vehicle was parked but it was to late cause the tiny bell rang indicating that they came in "shit hide" I whispered to Colby we hid behind a fallen isle which apparently had to be noisy as hell "are you sure they came in here?" I heard one of them say "yes Uncle Daryl" I heard him sigh "well fan out and search make sure that they won't pull one over on us, Noah with me" I looked at Col seeing that he is shaking I put my hand on his arm trying to calm him down.

"We need to make a run for it" he nodded we went to run to the back of the market when Colby knocked something over "Colby quiet" I whispered "don't move" I looked up and saw the guy holding a gun to our head "Daryl found them" he came over and made him lower his gun "Come on out" we did as we were told I didn't know these people don't know what their going to do to with us.

"We aren't going to hurt you, want to tell us your names" I looked at Colby and nodded he looked up at them "Colby & Bryn Cobb" he nodded "well are you the only two or are you in a bigger group" I looked at Colby he nodded maybe they could help us with food "there is 5 of us in total" he nodded looking at his group members then he kneeled next to me "how many walker have you killed" he looked at us "too many to count" he looked one of his men then back at us "how many people have you killed?" I looked at him shocked "what kind of question is that" he sighed "just answer the question" I sighed "non" "why" I looked at him "because I am still human I am not cold hearted not like those things" he nodded.

"Well I'm Daryl, this is Matthew, Noah, Sophia, Zach, Cage, Chase, we have a prison it's really secure" I nodded "I am Bryn you kno-" "are you going to hurt us" I elbowed him in the side "Colby we aren't going to hurt you, there is good people then there are bad people, we are the good kind, your going to need the good kind to survive this Broken World" Colby nodded "plus I have kids and nephews and nieces around your age" we nodded.

"How about we go and get your group and we can head to the prison and get you guys settled in" I looked at Colby and we nodded he let us get up I am still leery on it these people looked scary but they were nice as can be "Matt go and tell your dad and Carl, Amy, Rosita to fire up the cars we will be there in a minute, Chase and Cage go with him make sure to get back safe" they nodded then left Daryl looked down at us "you guys have a vehicle right, we are going to drive back to your camp then we will ask the same questions to everyone else alright?" we nodded we headed to the back of the store where our truck is it was a pretty good truck it ran pretty well.

"Bryn mom is going to be pissed that we got caught" I looked at him "well we need food we haven't eaten for almost a week I am sure she will understand" he nodded Daryl, Sophia, Zach, and Noah came with us as we packed up what we found witch wasn't much.

"Just a heads up Daryl our mother won't be to happy that we have been caught alright, so I am just doing this cause I have four younger siblings I have to feed, that is why I am doing this" he nodded we got in and we met up with everyone else this is going to be fun.
