Present Day
Tionne.
I just kept pacing back and forth and back and forth. This cannot be happening. This must be a long ass dream cause this is not real. My own sister, Lisa disappeared in 1992. It is now 1996. 4 years later and she stll isn't found. I haven't stopped believing she is still alive. I took a quick glance at the door, praying her happy ass would walk through it any minute. I decided to sit down because my legs were hurting. I just sat and kept looking at the door. Lisa will walk through the door. Lisa will walk through the door. Lisa will walk through the door. I have to keep telling myself this. No negative thoughts. None. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the doorbell ring. Could it be? Please be her. I got up and unlocked the door, only to come face to face with Rozonda and the police. Rozonda didn't say anything but run into my arms, crying her eyes out. I didn't know what was happening. They better not say what I think they are going to say. "Ms. Watkins, Lisa Lopes has been missing for 4 years now. We haven't found any evidence or any trace of her. So.....we had to call off the search." There it was. My whole life just came crashing down on me. I could not believe this. The police decided to leave us alone. Rozonda was still crying in my arms. A few tears streamed down my face. I couldn't say a word. I couldn't move. This is not happening. This isn't right. My Lisa is out there. My Lisa is never coming back. My Lisa is gone forever.
