Before this story begins, I want to introduce myself. I'm Diana Feller and I lived in a city called New York City. New York City was supposedly a very peaceful town with no criminal activity whatsoever. Yet one day, when my friend Rachel Adler became married to her fiance, when I received my paycheck, when John Harrow finished designing the design for his friend's fashion line, and when Kane Mason finally opened his restaurant to represent his love for cooking, a murder occurred. Lauren Downer was shot in her own home. The city was shocked. No detective went for the case, but I did. I have told this story to many friends before, but now I will be telling it to you. So sit back, relax, and listen.

"You may now kiss the bride." The room erupted with cheers and applauses as Rachel and her now-husband Owen kissed. I furiously clapped my hands and smiled brightly.
Today was the wedding of the greatest couple on the planet -- Rachel Stephens and Owen Adler. Rachel is now Rachel Adler due to the change in her name, but she still has Stephens as her middle name. It was about two weeks ago, when Rachel and I were just sitting around my apartment in boredom. All of a sudden, Rachel spoke up."Will you be one of my bridesmaids?"
I paused. Me being one of her bridesmaids? I was only planning on going to the wedding as a guest. I didn't suppose being a bridesmaid would hurt. I accepted her request and the next day I was in a hurry to pick out accessories. Soon I was finally done and the dress with the accessories were picked out, and here we are. The Adler Wedding.
Two of my other greatest friends were also there: Kane Mason and John Harrow.
Kane Mason was your friendly-neighborhood cook. Every morning, you could wake up to the scent of good food. If you could smell this, it was most likely coming from the house of Kane. Kane and I met each other in cooking class at one of my highschools. I ended up messing up on one of the foods, but luckily he came to my side and helped me fix it. Later I had an A+ for that dish him and I fixed. He had chocolate skin, onyx eyes, and such curly and soft hair.
Then we have John Harrow. He is a both an artist and a fashion designer. He created the cover for "Dreams of Night" at just eleven years old! He basically looks like a puppy, with the brown eyes and hair but pale skin. He's your consulting designer, AND your dream guy.
Bringing myself out of thoughts, it was where I ended up at a table drinking red wine. I sipped the luxurious, smoothe drink and took in the surroundings of the place. It had been beautifully decorated with white and blue roses, along with fairy lights. The rest of the scenery was decorated with white, silky curtains.
I found Kane walking over to the table and sitting across from me. I sipped on my wine once more as he poured himself a glass of red wine.
"Hows your restaurant going so far?" I asked, putting down my wine glass. Today he has finally opened his own restaurant for his love of cooking and he has gotten a lot of customers. As soon as I walked into the restaurant with Rachel and John, we found it bustling with people. Everybody was enjoying their food and leaving a huge tip once they left.
"So far so good." Kane sipped his wine, the red liquid pouring into his mouth.
I sighed and grinned.
"How's your day so far?" Kane tilted his head.
"Boring, but great."
