"NEXT!" The huge man beside the twins said.
That was us. We were next.
We walked up to them, I headed to Grayson and she headed to Ethan.
"Hello guys! How are you doing today?" Grayson said as him and Ethan both opened their arms for a hug.
"Really good thanks for asking." I said, smiling from ear to ear.
"Oh here, we brought you guys something." Amanda said, handing her bag to Ethan.
"And I made one for you too." I said to Grayson, handing him his turquoise gift bag.
"Aw thanks! We look forward to opening these tonight." He said, looking at me and smiling the biggest smile.
"Do you guys want to take a selfie or a group picture?" Ethan asked, his deep voice booming.
"Is it possible to do both?" Amanda asked.
"Well I don't see why not." Ethan said grabbing Amanda's phone.
"Here is mine." I handed my phone to Grayson. I went and stood beside him and he wrapped his arm around me and I leaned in for the picture. He smelt so good. He smelt the way that I always imagined that he would smell. He took the picture and handed his phone back to me. Ethan handed Amanda's phone to the huge man beside of them.
I stood beside Grayson and Amanda, and Amanda beside Ethan.
"1, 2, 3." Flash. The man took our picture and handed it back to Amanda without even looking to make sure the picture was fine.
"Could you sign my phone case?" I asked both of the twins.
"Absolutely." Grayson said taking my phone. He pulled a sharpie out of his pocket. Thank goodness. He signed my phone and passed it to Ethan, as Ethan did the same with Amanda's phone.
"Well it was really good meeting you guys." Grayson said to me and Amanda. They opened their arms for yet another hug. I didn't want to let go, but I knew I had to. Our short time together was up, and I wouldn't see him again until the next time he went on tour.
"You too!" Me and Amanda said back to them as we left the gift bags behind and took our phones.
As we walked outside, we were lost for words. The line just kept growing.
We walked to the car in complete silence. We both got in the car and looked at each other and started freaking out.
"I cannot believe we just met the Dolan twins." I looked at Amanda as I started the car.
"I know. I still don't believe it. It literally doesn't seem like that just happened." She said in shock.
I swear the whole ride home, Amanda was staring at her signed phone case from the twins.
"What all did you pack in the bag for Grayson again?" Amanda asked me, still looking at her phone.
"Some candy, a stuffed bear, and a card with my picture and phone number in it." I said hesitantly as I started laughing. "As if he would ever call me."
"I mean, you never knowwww." She said, shrugging her shoulders, laughing.
"How about you, what did you put in there?" I asked her in return, trying to change the subject off of me.
"I packed some candy as well, a card, NOT with a picture of me or my number," she said laughing "a picture collage of them, a little stuffed turtle, and a box of chocolates."
"You are literally going to kill him with all of the candy." I said.
We pulled back up in my drive way a quarter till six, got our stuff and went inside.
"Hey mom! I'm home!" I shouted throughout the house, waiting for her response so I could go tell her about our experience. I was so excited to share the news.
"I'm in the kitchen!" She said.
I should have known.
"Mmmm it smells good, Mrs. Hensley." Amanda said.
"Thank you. I'm cooking some chicken for us to eat tonight. But enough about that, how did today go?" She asked turning around from the stove.
"SO GOOD!" I shouted. "Mom, he smelt soooo good! I wish that I didn't have to leave."
"You girls are crazy. Was the 200$ worth it?" She asked. She couldn't believe that me and Amanda spent so much money to meet them.
"Oh, absolutely." I said back.
We finished giving the details to my mom, and somehow, we turned a 60 second meet and greet to a fifteen minute conversation like we were actually there for fifteen minutes. I wish.
The food was done and we all got a plate. My little sister and brother came running down stairs, and my father walked in from a long day at work. We all sat down at the table and I just had to repeat the same story to the rest of my family.
After dinner and repeating the same story again, me and Amanda went upstairs to my room and cleaned up our mess from earlier. She had make up all over my desk, and I had threw tons of clothes in the floor trying to hurry and chose the perfect outfit for today. After we were done cleaning, we decided to watch a movie on Netflix.
"Hmmm, what should we watch?" I asked Amanda.
"I have no idea." She returned, staring at her phone.
"Dang, what's so important on your phone?" I said just laughing.
"Oh ya know, just stocking Ethan's twitter page. I was waiting to see if he's going to tweet anything about the meet and greet today." She said, not breaking eye contact with her phone.
"Oh, I see."
We finally chose a stupid sappy love story on Netflix, but it was awful. We were barely paying attention and we were just staying on our phones and laptops. As I was scrolling on facebook on my computer, my phone starting ringing beside of me.
"Who's calling you at this hour of night?" Amanda said.
I picked up the phone and I about choked at the site of a number popping up from "New Jersey". I stared at my phone with my mouth wide open.
"Well?" Amanda asked.
I was lost for words. I just shoved my face in her phone as it continued to ring.
"Well you fucking idiot! ANSWER IT!" She shouted at me.
"OKAY!"
I slid over the bar to answer and I put the phone up to my ear, scared.
"Hello?" I said with a shake in my voice.
"Hi, is this Laney?" The deep voice through the phone asked me.
"Yes, yes it is." I said back with my eyes wide open.
"Hey Laney. This is Grayson. Grayson Dolan." My heart dropped to the floor and I didn't know what to say in response. Was this real? This had to be a joke.
