Chapter 40

October 19th

12:57 a.m

Trevor's pov:

We were at the hospital. Daya layed in bed. Regardless of what she's done i'll still love her. There has to be a logical reason for her passing out like that. I sat next to the bed and she was yet to wake up. I held her hand and waited for Dr. Andrews to return. Just as I said that in my mind he walked into the room.

"Hello Dr. Andrews" I say he first. He was looking down at her clip board.

"Hello Mr. Jackson" he responded.

"So what is the problem? Why did she pass out?" I took a deep breath hoping it was nothing serious.

"Looks to me like she's suffering from Syncope" he didn't take his eyes of his chart.

I may sound stupid but... "What exactly is that?" I had the courage to ask.

" Syncope (pronounced “sin ko pea”) is the brief loss of consciousness and posture caused by a temporary decrease in blood flow to the brain. The person usually regains consciousness and becomes alert right away, but may experience a brief period of confusion. It may be caused by emotional stress, dehydration, loss of blood, and over heating" he explained.

"So with all that being said will she be able to come home tonight?" I was hoping for a yes

"I fact she will. Just as soon as she wakes up, we'll run some more test to see if the matter is worse then it actually appears. If she's clear, she can return home" he said.

"Thank you so much" I said as he began to leave.

"You're welcome. Be sure to keep a close eye on her, I sense she's doing something she isn't suppose to" he said then left

Now what is that suppose to mean? Does he know about how Daya's abusing me?

I was thinking when Daya began waking up. She sat up quick and alarmed and she looked scared.

"Where am I? I didn't kill no body!" were the first sentences that came out of her mouth.

"Baby you're in the hospital. You passed out at house. The Dr said it was cause of Syncope. You were just stressed" I explain.

"I'm sorry" she said

"Sorry for what?"

"For pushing you down that well. I'll never do it again. I promise" she said

I leaned in and kissed her forehead.."I forgive you baby" I said.

I had to figure out what was making her act this way. Today I was going to. I made. Little note in my head.

Updated again. I want to thank all of you who are nice enough to even view this book. 3,568 reads that's epic. Omfg!!! You guys are the world to me along with both my sisters @maiandamg and Zendaya of course. I wouldn't have nothing to do with my life to be honest. Writing is truly a passion.
