We sat until dawn our happy laughing moments faded into seriousness when the group "Negan" was brought into our conversation.

"Ah, That groups been to mine they're such assholes." He muttered taking a drink of water exhaling.

It had started to get hot in the car so Jesus had pulled up his hair and took off both his armor and jacket.

"They took my people away, I was set out to go find them but I got caught by two dumbasses."

He chuckled pointing at me with a smile, "I'll help you no joke I will."

"Nice of you to say but.. I don't think they're alive anymore."

"Don't give up now. You've gotten this far just keep on going, despite the facts of them possibly being dead."

I hummed nodding to him.

"You're right. I need more people though."

"I got mine, we can help. But, our leader was taken a few weeks ago."

I chewed in some pudding muttering through a mouth full.

"What was his name?"

"Gregory."

I choked on the pudding coughing violently, Jesus sat up patting my back eyes wide.

"You okay??"

"I- I know where he is." I croaked continuing to cough.

Jesus handed me his water bottle and I took it chugging it down quickly.

"Where is he?"

"We have him."

I stared at him his eyes wide with shock.

"Why-"

"Because we thought he was gonna ambush us, and we were gonna use him to get your people to help us."

"With what?!"

"Negan."

He sat back furrowing his eyebrows waving his hands raising his voice.

"Negans group is huge! We can't beat them they have 3 times as much of guns then people!"

"It's better then nothing. We need to get people and take him down."

Jesus stared and sighed running a hand through his hair.

"Let's go back."

"Back?"

"Back to your place."

I sweated and waved my hands.

"Ah- they hate me."

He rose an eyebrow curious, he crossed his arms watching me.

"Ran away?"

"Maybe."

"Was it L-Love?"

"What? No."

"If you say so."

He shifted his bun on his head fixing his ponytail in the process then he started the engine. I looked softly at him who gave me a comforting grin.

"We'll go back, but lets head back to a gas station a few miles back and stay there until tomorrow morning."

I nodded sitting up fixing my seat then we rode off down the highway.

My mine had completely forgotten about Rick.
