In the morning, Ricky woke up to see Ratchet gone. He looked until he saw Ratchet near the riverbank meditating. Ricky watched until Ratchet made one sound: “AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!” His scream shocked Ricky. Ratchet put his hands in his face. “I can tell your upset about something.” Ricky said, climbing to his feet. Ratchet gave him a long, hard look and realized Ricky was trying to help. Is he alright? Maybe I should help. Ricky thought. He sat beside Ratchet and wrapped his arm around him. “What is it?” Ricky asked. Ratchet groaned when he heard Ricky. “Ricky…..I wasn't born to kill others. I just wanted to pretend to kill to lie to my parents. But as soon as they found out I had no choice but to run. When I did, I grabbed the closest thing and threw it.” Ratchet’s voice broke. “I killed my family…” Ricky was shocked to hear what Ratchet was saying. “Hey. I did the same thing. Only I never got a chance to kill my father.” Ricky said, wiping Ratchet’s tears of his face. In their conversation, they both heard a scream. It was Fluffy. They raced to see Spirit throwing rocks at a huge monster.“STAY BACK!” Spirit demanded. It was at that moment that Ricky shot a flame at the beast. The monster screamed in pain and fell to the ground. Ratchet gagged as the smell of blood came from the beast. Fluffy covered her nose so she would not take a sniff. Spirit felt sick by the scent. “Everyone okay?” Ricky asked. Everyone nodded. “We better go,” Spirit said. “Who knows what could come our way next if we are not careful.” Ricky nodded and the gang set off.
