The second part, since they are too cute and I can't give up on them.
Jack and Jamie vol 2
Jamie is walking to school one winter morning. He’s smiling because last night Jack an he had sort of a date night, and watched the Breakfast Club. And during the ending, Jack kissed Jamie, the exact time when Andrew kissed Allison, and then when Judd Nelson threw his hand up in the air, he did the same.
It makes him smile, Jack’s kiss was lingering on his lips when he woke up, and he still remembers it.
Jamie hands are inside his coat’s pockets, because he’s cold. He’s become more used to being exposed to the frigidity, but as a human, he can’t get over it.
Suddenly there are steps beside him. It’s Jack, and he’s twirling his cane in his hands. “Having a nice walk, aren’t we?“ he asks, raising his eyebrow. Jamie bites back his widening smile.
Jack moves closer to Jamie, so he has to take a step to his left, and then another, and another, until Jack bumps hips with him, giving a slightly too powerful shove, and Jamie falls into a snowdrift, that he assumes, Jack has just created.
Jack lets out a laugh, and skips to where Jamie fell.
There is the outline of Jamie’s body in the snow. “I didn’t know angels walked on Earth,“ Jack teases, but his fun is cut off, when Jamie sweeps Jack off his feet with his. Jack falls next to where Jamie is, and before he can get up, Jamie gets on top of him and pins his hands down. He smiles as he looks down at Jack.
“That wasn’t very nice,“ he says.
Jack rolls his eyes and blows a strand of hair from his eye. “I never told you I was nice,“ Jack replies with an excuse.
“You didn’t need to tell me,“ Jamie mumbles, not having the strength to tear his eyes away from Jack’s lips. “I knew it the minute I met you.“
“Hah,“ Jack forces a laugh. “You didn’t even believe in me when we met.“
Jamie bites his lip, saddened by the thought. He releases Jack’s hands, ready to stand up, but Jack grabs hold of Jamie’s coat. “But you saved me,“ he adds softly. “You saved all of us.“
They look at each other, and the heaviness of the moment makes the air thick around them. For a moment it’s as if they’re frozen, then Jack speaks again. “I am forever loyal to you for that,“ he says, emphasizing every word to show Jamie he means it.
Without even Jack saying it, Jamie knows it, but it’s nice to hear him say it anyways. Jamie leans in and gives Jack a kiss. “I have to get to school,“ Jamie sighs, to which Jack nods. They get up, Jamie helping Jack by giving a hand. There is silence, before Jack speaks.
“Look for my messages,“ he says, smiling, and Jamie’s heart skips a beat.
Jack leaves short notes on the window next to Jamie’s desk in biology, and another on the blackboard, which disappears in a matter of seconds, then one made of ice on Jamie’s backpack.
The last one is a note in Jamie’s locker written on paper. He receives it at the end of the day, and it says Jack is waiting for him at home.
When he arrives, Jack is sitting at the end of the kitchen table, lunch served, a candle lit in the middle. Jamie sets his bag on the floor, stops to stand at the door of the kitchen, and unbuttons his coat. He leans against the door frame, and raises an eyebrow at Jack.
“Are you questioning my motives?“ Jack asks.
Jamie shrugs. “Should I?“
“Yes, you’re right,“ Jack exhales and closes his eyes. “I expect cuddling in return.“
Jamie rolls his eyes, hangs his coat and sits down on Jack’s left. He puts his hand on Jack’s and looks at him. This is what happiness is: staring at the blues of his eyes, holding his hand, and having lunch together. And later a mad hot make-out session.
