Niall and I went on our one hour plane ride back to London, and immediately picked Amelia up from her hotel.
The car ride was very short. I kept on asking her questions to make sure she was alright.
"How pregnant are you?" I asked, turning around in my seat.
She looked down at her flat stomach and bit her lip, drawing circles on her shirt.
"We shagged about five weeks ago, and I was suppose to get my present two weeks ago but I didn't." She murmured, clearly confused.
I sighed and rubbed my temple out of stress. I didn't like seeing my friend upset.
"Amelia, you are going to have to talk to him or be a single mum." I explained.
She whimpered and nodded. Soon, she began to cry.
"Hey, when we get to the house, I'll make you something to eat. You're going to start craving soon." I cooed, patting her cheek softly.
Looking over at Niall, he grinned, rubbing my knee.
"I crave too, babe." He added, stopping the car and getting out.
When we got inside, I forced Amelia to rest in the guest room. I made her a mug of warm lemon water and a healthy bowl of salads made of plenty protein and vitamins.
On the other hand, Niall wasn't too excited about "eating healthy", but it was for Amelia's baby.
Sitting on the sofa while watching The Role Model with Amelia and Niall, I tried shoving healthy pills into her mouth to keep the baby healthy.
"Quit it Aria!" She squealed pushing me back and forth.
I laughed, not giving up.
"Your baby needs to have full potential!" I protested, popping a pill down her throat.
She choked and swallowed, scowling at me.
Shrugging, I handed her water.
"Just trying to be the reason why your child will have a perfect future?" I squeaked.
She smiled at me and tightly wrapped her arms around my shoulders.
"You're perfect." She grinned, patting the top of my head.
Sighing, I laid into Niall's lap.
"Ni, you're being a good sport." I grinned, looking up at him.
He chuckled and snaked his way around my waist.
"Thanks, Princess and you're being a good friend to Amelia."
After putting Amelia to a forced sleep, Niall and I went out to dinner.
Walking into a small diner, we took a table across from an elderly man.
He was huddled in his long wool sweater with a light brown scarf wrapped loosely around his frail neck.
Wiping his long nose with a white tissue, he slouched down, looking at his lap, longing for the silence to end.
"Ni, is he okay?" I whispered, not looking away, lightly smacking my soon-to-be husband's arm.
Niall scratched his chin and looked around the room, unaware of the little old man.
"Huh, where?" He whispered.
I nudged my head in the man's direction.
Niall's eyebrows creased as he saw the man's company was absence.
