Work was cranking by slowly like a rusted gear. You could only go through the motions, your head in a fog.
"Thank you, come again!" You mechanically chirp to your latest customer.
You tell your fellow coworkers it's your lunch time as you slink to the break room. Once slouching into the cheap plastic IKEA chair, you give a long heavy sigh. You felt well rested, in fact you felt incredible compared to your usual. But, I guess that's because you overslept by an insane amount of time. You poke around on your phone, passing time as you ate (favorite food).
You notice something odd in the reflection of your phone while sipping on some (favorite drink). A faint bruise near your cheekbone. You lightly touch it, a flashback rushing in. In your dream you had hit your face on the corner of the doorway when watching that creepy King talk to his fountain. Your heartbeat raced wildly. It has to be chance. You must have done it in your sleep.
After one last bite of your meal you tie your apron back on and head back into the fray.

It was 8:30 pm and finally you could leave. You still weren't tired, but you had an online test to do by midnight. You knew the content well, but tests still scared you immensely regardless of where you had to take it. Once home you hurry to take a shower, feeling gross from not having done so before work. You flip open your aged laptop and peck away. A few hours pass and you finish; you score an 85. Not the best, but definitely not worst. You were content with that.
The alarm clock read midnight, but you still didn't feel the ache to sleep. You flip through movies on your laptop, watching one till you finally became tired enough to head to your plushy bed. You dress this time into your (f/c) pajamas.
You settle in, waiting for your natural melatonin to kick back in. Thoughts of today flood in: work, your stupid boss, how you were late to work...that dream with the strange handsome blue man. Your fingers rub the spot on your face again, now noticing there was a small lump there too.
'I'm sure it's nothing' you laugh mentally.
Softly, you drift away.

You open your eyes, going to look at your watch.
'Oh yeah, it's on the dresser, duh.'
You stretch and rub your eyes, attempting to adjust to the morning rays. Only except...there were none?
You scream. You were back to the castle, as if you had only left momentarily. The walls dark and dank, the lanterns still blazing blue. Shaking like a leaf, you examine your hands. Cyan nails and your thick robe present.
"No, no, no! Oh my god I'm fucking insane!" You yell, struggling to keep your breath steady.
You kick the hole filled blankets off, pulling your knees in close. How, how was this happening? To have the same dream twice in a row was one thing...but to start back where you left off? Were you really a basket case?
Rouxls.
You never wanted to see someone so bad. If anything in this place made you happy and feel somewhat sane it was him. You fumble to your feet, the cold stone floor sending chills up your spine. What were you to do? Wonder around the castle halls again till you found him?
A faint sound of warping and then a bright white flash sound out from behind your door. You heart skips a beat and you sigh a breath of relief.
Knock knock.
"Ms. ----? Are thoust awake?"
It was definitely Rouxls and you split for the door. You yank it open, beaming from ear to ear. He gave you a confused smile, clearly not understanding why you were so happy to see him. He clears his throat and smoothes down the back of his hair. His eyes shift left to right before coming back to yours.
