She may just be a stuffed bunny
But she's also my best friend
I used to take her everywhere
Church, friend's houses, grandma's
I would dress her up in little outfits
Put her ears up
She was like my child
She was always there for me to cuddle when I got scared
I made her myself
At the store
I made a wish and put a heart in her
She had a bed,
Matching dresses with me,
Little shoes.
Everyone had one at the time
Bears, cats, dogs
But I got a bunny
A special one that I still have today
I don't dress her up anymore
I don't take her everywhere
But I still love her
I've had so many memories with her
I can't bear to let her go
I still hold her
And cry
She helps me through hard times
Even though she can't talk
Sometimes talking isn't the best option
Sometimes you just need someone to love you
So Ella if you're reading this
Which I doubt you are
Know that I may not take care of you much anymore
I still love you
