My Dream Promposal

My heart was racing as I made my way threw the crowded High School hallways. This was it, this was the day I would ask my crush to prom.

My bff and I had stayed up late last night planning this all, she made it sound so easy, but it was really nerve-wracking.

I spotted him next to his locker pulling his school books out. His next class is math, with me. I quickly make my way into the empty classroom and set up my promposal sign on his desk right as students start to enter class.

I make my way to my desk and sit right as he enters the classroom. He pauses in his steps and slowly makes his way to his desk as he stares at it with confusion. He looks around the classroom at everyone before reading the sign.

I watch him closely as he reads it and notice the small smile on his lips as he does so. He gently sets the sign down and turns to me with a bug smile,"Kaycee, I would love to go to prom with you."

Before he can say another word the teacher comes in and we begin class.

After school I make my way to JCPenney's to shop with my bff for a prom dress. I carefully select a dark blue sleeveless dress and immediately know it's the right one for me.

The night of prom rolled around sooner then I thought, today is the day.

My crush should be here any minute to pick me up.

I slowly made my way down the stairs as the doorbell rings.

I hear my dad open the door and he begins talking to my crush as I make a cliche late entrance down the stairs.

I see his breath catch in his throat and his eyes grow wide as he see's me. He slowly smiles at me and I immediately notice how handsome he looks.

He holds his arm out for me and I gently loop my arm threw it. He leads me to the door where he gently slips a corsage onto my wrist.

In the car we talk and joke around, he has a pretty cute laugh.

Once we're in prom we don't hesitate to start dancing. He places his hands on my waist and I place my on his shoulder. He twirls every now and then and it's absolutely perfect.

Suddenly he leans in and places a light kiss on my lips before saying,"I just want to tell you that I have liked you for a long time now."

"Can I tell you a secret?" I ask him,"I like you too."

He leans in and kisses me again.
