Chapter 2: Changes

Serena took a 4 hour ride to the old village and by the time she reached her destination,she started to realize it's not a village anymore.it looks like the old village but with Windows and short structured like building even people with different clothing with their phones and blabbing around.She only recognized the old fabric shop that now turned into a clothing store and entered inside.
"Umm... Are you still on business?" She Asked
"No.. Way... It's Miss Serena!" Said the owner
"Uh do I know you..?" Asked Serena
"You know my mother who worked here?? Well she passed and I'm doing her duty here in this clothing store." Said the owner
"*gasps* you must be her daughter... Aw look at you... You're not little anymore..." Said Serena as she hooded both her hands
After their talk Serena started to tell if the human changed.
"We did change... There is no more fights here anymore... This is the 21st century now.." The owner said
"I see... How is it exactly?" Said Serena
"A bit complicated and harsh but eh... I like this century better than the old days..." Said The owner
So they both sipped their drink and realized that she forgot to give clothes to Serena
"Oh... You should change your clothes.. Hold on.." Said the owner
She came back with new clothes to wear and Serena wore it,when she wore it she feels a bit different.
"Hmm... These designs look quite fascinating.... Yet a bit off.. It looks nice.." She said
"Thanks... I made it actually..." Said the owner
"Wait... Do I need to pay you?" Asked Serena
"Oh no no... You don't know how to pay it too... It on the house,since it's all different I'll show you how it looks like.." Said the owner
She taught her everything the whole day,when she's done Serena was going the leave by the time she leaves the owner of the clothing store her name.
"I haven't told you my name yet.... I'm Jessica..." She said
"Oh... Well... Goodbye Jessica." Serena Said as she waved her goodbye
Few minutes later when she walked and looked around in the city she saw Midnight helping someone but the object appeared heavy so she quickly approached to her and helped
"E-Excuse me... Do you need a hand?" She Asked
"Uh... Yeah... Sure." Said Midnight
They both pushed it a little to the left and the worker thanked them
"Perfect... Thanks Midnight... And you... Who ever you are young lady.." Said the worker
"*Chuckles* I'm Serena and nice to meet you.." She said
"Ah that's a very nice name... thank you Serena.." Said the worker

So they were all done and they waved goodbye to him as they walked by the streets Midnight started talking here.
"Are you... New here?" She said
"Yes... I just came this Morning,so... Where are you going?" Asked Serena
"There is a new smartphone and they are giving it free for 20,000 people today.." Said Midnight
"Really..? Is it ok if some can take more than one for your friends?" Asked Serena
"Yes... If you have lazy friends or your friends are far from this place.. Then it's fine." Said Midnight

So they crossed the road and talked about it then they finally reached to the store,luckily they were the first one to come first.
"My.. My we must be lucky... So how long we should wait?" Asked Serena
"Oh... 15 minutes... And after 5 minutes the people will rush in this line..." Said Midnight
So they stopped talking for few seconds waiting for the store to open.By the time they waited Serena started to say something nice to her.
"Midnight... That's really a beautiful name.." She Said
"*Giggles* thanks... My mother gave me that name.." Said Midnight
"What's your mothers name?" Asked Serena
"It's... Milena..." Said Midnight
Serena started to get confused because her queen Martha told her that she used to have a friend but she said that she also have a daughter and that's why they didn't come to greet each other.after a few minutes the people started lining up even her friends but they ended up in the 4th line.
"Is that? Midnight?" Ginette Asked
Three of them were shocked that she was the first one in the line
"It is her! She's always first when she see new products coming out.. Bummer..." Said Sherly
"I know right... She's always there first.." Said Katelyn
"*sighs* she's not gonna buy for us... And who is that?" Asked Erica
"I don't know... She seems new here... Probably Midnight is showing her around even the new smart phone.." Said Sherly
"I really wish to be her friend..." Said Ginette
"Don't worry we will... If it's the right time...." Said Katelyn
"I hope so..." Said Erica
