Different Worlds

She can create a Portal.

After everyone left the living room, Charlie found Charles on the roof of the old church where they all lived in.

Charles: How is she? (He asked his sister without looking back)

Charlie: She's fine. I left her with Juniper to fill in the details. You know I can't tell her anything without me crying over the past. (She sat beside him at the edge of the roof)

Charles: You still love him, don't you?

Charlie: Yes. I love him still. I love him as much as you love her.

Charles: Sorry. I drag you into this. We will never get our redemption because of this.

Charlie: It's okay, Charles. I am the one who should apologize because if not because of me, we won't be banished.

Charles: The things we do for the ones we love.

(There's an explosion downstairs.)

(Both Charlie and Charles jumped to their feet.)

Charles: What's that?

Charlie: Juniper! Yosef! Tommy! Jin! (She jumped from the roof to the ground. Charles followed her. They landed on the main entrance of the abandoned church.)

They found the main door smokin' . Charlie took out her seraph blade while Charlies lighted the entrance way with his palm and they both went inside.

They found the living room on fire. Charlie immediately attended to her bestfriend as soon as she saw her bleeding and knocked out in one corner. Tommy and Jin were busy putting off the fire. Tien? Tien's nowhere to be found. Jin must had sensed their worries, especially Charles' so he briefly explained what happened.

Jin: They took her. I'm sorry. We can't do anything. They're stronger than the last time we fought them. (Still using his magic to put up the fire.)

Charles was stunned upon learning Tien was taken. Charlie was concerned with what his brother would do, so she took advantage of the fact that he was taken aback to yell at him to get something which would help Juniper.

Charlie: Charles! Get the healing potion! (Charles ran off to get it in his sister's room.) Rayt, help me with Naya please. Lloyd try to contact Ryle. Tell him not to come here anymore. I will find him later. We'll go now. Asmodeus and the others may come back. (Charlie stood up, drew a stele and started to draw something on the wall.)

Jin summoned leaves while whispering enchantment on the air. Then, a burst of wind blew suddenly and all the leaves disappeared. He just sent a message to Yosef and they all hoped his leaves would find him sooner.

Tommy's holding Juniper in his arms. After a while, Charles was back from getting the potion. He handed it to Tommy. And then, he made Juniper drink it. Juniper coughed after taking it but still she's unconsciously. However, her wounds were slowly healing.

Charles: I have to go. I have to rescue Tien. (He looked so angry and he's about to storm out when Charlie caught him)

Charlie: Easy there, brother. We'll get them. All of us. We'll get them. But we need to help Naya get to a safe place first. They won't do anything to  Tien. She's their ticket to us.

Charles calmed down a bit. He realized his sister's right.

Charles: What are we going to do?

Charlie did not answer him, instead, she continued her drawing on the wall. Charles was left to join Jin who's watching her.

She drew a rune, an ancient rune. After she's done, the drawing began to glow and all of the sudden it became a portal, which was big enough for everyone to pass.

Everyone was so surprised with what Charlie did, especially her brother.

Charles: How the hell did you know that rune? And where did you get that stele?

Charlie: I needed to learn things in order to protect you. Now, don't waste time and pass through the portal. It'll take you to a safe place.

Tommy and Jin nodded. Tommy carried Juniper on his arms and passed through the portal. Jin followed them after. Charles was hesitant to pass through when he noticed his sister seemed not interested in coming with them.

Charles: Aren't you coming?

Charlie: No. We'll rendezvous to where you're going. I promise. I need to ward this place so that Asmodeus and his minions will not sense where we heading. I have to look for Yosef too. I need him to come with me and talk to someone I know who can help us get Tien back.

Charles: Who?

(Charlie noticed the portal's closing in.)

Charlie: Portal's closing. Get in now, Charles. I'll tell you everything later. Take care and don't do anything stupid without me. (She kissed her brother on the cheek and pushed him in through the portal.)

Charles was not able to answer his sister because as soon as he passed through, the portal closed in. Then, Charlie started to left rune marks across their smokin' living room.

After warding off the whole place, Charlie ran off to look for Yosef.
