Most people wouldn't understand the complicated lives of me and my friends - lives we didn't expect to hit us when we weren't looking. The impact certain people have had on our idea of normal lives is surprising; who knew one small yet powerful alpha werewolf could change so much in so little time.
The majority of the population of Beacon Hills have absolutely no idea of what lurks in the night, sometimes even the day, but I do. I know the danger the whole town is in 90% of the time. I know the cause of the aptly named 'animal attacks'. What I didn't know is the trouble that would be brought when one of my best friends was bitten. He's now like them - a werewolf.
Sometimes I wish for my old life back, where I did nothing but spend time with my two best friends, Scott and Stiles. Whether that be when we were younger and went on bike rides and climbed trees, or little than a month a go and finished homework together or spied on one of Sheriff Stilinski's police call-outs.
Things are slowly unravelling and falling apart, such as our lives and who the alpha is.
Who needs high school normalities when you can go to research the latest 'murder', werewolf case and run for your life.
I should of known things would turn sour when Stiles rang me at an ungodly hour, telling me to get ready and that he'll pick me up to go dead body hunting with Scott. But as I did with most things he suggested; I went along with it.
