Gaze At The Moon

"Mother, i have something to tell you" she smiled
She was pale, looking sick, but was health

"What is it?" Mother was grating coconut, stopping to look at her daughter.
Coconut dropping when she saw her form

"DANIEL!!!!" She called for her husband. Not moving, trembling with fear as she saw her daughter's form

"DANIE-"

"Yes woman, wha-" he stopped mid sentence
Both parents stared at their daughter

"Where we're you dia?" The mother asking as her husband slowly grabbed his gun

"Da?", dia's gaze landed on her father as he aimed his gun at her

"Ma, what's da doing?" She looked her ma in the eye, that made her ma to break down in to a sobbing mess

"Ma?"
"....da-BANG" he missed

BANG!
BANG!
BOOM!
BEAM!

with each shot he missed her
She was long gone, he rushed after her, like a priest after a demon

Dia ran, ran since her life depended on it
She saw a man, he was staring up.
Would she ask this man for her?
This tall man looking up?
Would she?

Dia ran to him pulling his pants leg
She was panting, she was tired

The gazing man looked down
Seeing that someone wanted an audience with him

"Yes" he stared at her
Dark foggy golden eyes stared at her

"DIA"

"Kind sir i am in need of help" dia cluched the gazing man's Now crumbled pants

" why ask me?, why do you need help?"  He asked

"My da he wants to kill me and ma's no use, please help me" she pleaded

"What will you give me in return" the gazing man stood tall looking at the full moon

He father found her, and aimed his gun ready to kill her

"I'll give you my hand-I'll marry you and be you wife.., please save me"dia pleaded

The gazing man looked down and said

" Gaze at the moon with me my love and you'll be safe"

BANG

she did what he commanded
She gazed at the moon

She was saved and became his
She was his wife

She and the Moon Gazer
