The city sparkled and dazzled a million lights, speckled across the skyline, Seoul buzzed and moved with life and light. It's a beautiful place to fall in love, even if those two people don't know it yet. Walking down from Yoongi's apartment gave Jimin time to admire Seoul in a different light, he had only lived here for two years, and it paled in comparison to Busan, his home and birthplace. Each time they moved, their hands lightly brushed against one another, Jimin liked it, it gave him butterflies and he felt his cheeks blushing ever so softly, he turned away hoping Yoongi hadn't seen.
Eventually they reached the cafe Yoongi had told Jimin about, it was brightly lit, a retro yet modern feel to it that dragged you in and made you want to never leave, it was beautiful and Jimin was glad Yoongi had taken him to it. The bell rang as they walked in and Jimin took in the bright lights and the bustle of people enjoying their night, Yoongi took Jimins hand and directed him to a booth in the corner of the room, as Jimin sat down Yoongi threw him a smile which Jimin gladly returned, they each took a menu and perused the offers at hand. When they had finally chosen something a young man wearing an apron walked up to them, he had large broad shoulders and a face of pure beauty and he knew it, you could tell from the way he smiled an shifted his head, "Yoongi it's been a while" said the man in question, Yoongi got up to give him a hug while Jimin watched their interaction studying the other male, and the way he and Yoongi conversed, "Jin this is Jimin my friend" Yoongi spoke Jimin felt a surge as Yoongi smiled his gummy smile at him, the two hadn't known each other long but they were beginning to connect so easily, "hello Jimin I'm Jin I own this here masterpiece of a cafe" Jin said chuckling, Jimin admired his confidence, most would find it cocky or vain but Jimin thought it was endearing how he lifted himself, they shook hands and Yoongi watched the interaction between the two happy that his best friend and new friend were getting along so well, just as he began to smile Jin interrupted, "so what can I get for you boys" Jin asked a smile plastered to his handsome face, "I would like a chocolate milkshake and a muffin" Yoongi replied turning to Jimin he spoke " what would you like? Jimin paused thinking slightly " hmm can I have a peppermint latte and a cookie?" He said smiling, "you certainly can" Jin said before walking off.
Jimin starred at the smoke drifting off his coffee, he watched how the liquid moved around in his green mug, a tranquil silence fell over the blonde and his companion who stares out of the window absentmindedly watching the city lights pan out in endless arrays of colour and light, captivating and drawing him in. Jimin watched the boy with awe, memorising his features, he hasn't known Yoongi long but it feels like forever Jimin doesn't believe in destiny but if he did he would certainly have believe that he and Yoongi were meant to meet, as he watches the older he finds himself wistfully thinking about what it would be like to be his, waking up everyday to the boys gummy smile, dates and nights at home, as he fantasies about it he doesn't notice said boy staring back at him a smirk on his face. " You okay Jimin" Yoongi says chuckling slightly, Jimin slightly startled looks at him with a embarrassed expression at the fact that he has been caught staring and fantasising about the boy in front of him, "um...." he says not knowing what to say ,Yoongi simply laughs at the boy who blushes a strawberry red in front off him " you know" he begins "this reminds me of the first time we met and I was the one caught staring not you" he chuckles, Jimin joins in, his soft angelic voice feels like music to Yoongi, he discreetly pinches himself to make sure he's not dreaming.
Fortunately for him he is not.
