A New Friend

                                   Liam's P.O.V

I was sitting in class next to Daniel, not really paying attention to the teacher.  I lay my head down on the desk, and close my eyes.  I get the feeling of someone watching me.  I try to ignore it but can't handle it anymore.  I look around and in the corner of my eye I see Daniel staring at me, and grinning.  I look straight at him and he quickly looks away and starts to blush. 

I ignore it and just put my head back down.  I start to feel a feeling in my stomach that I've never felt before.  It was weird, almost like...I liked someone. 

Before you knew it, the class had ended.  The lunch bell rang.  I stood up and grabbed my stuff and looked at Daniel.  The feeling in my stomach started to grow stronger.  I walked out of the classroom, not thinking much about it. 

Daniel began to catch up to me.  "Wanna walk to lunch together?" He asked me.  "Sure" I replied, in a soft voice.  He grabbed my hand and we walked to the cafeteria. 

I sat down, not wanting any food.  Daniel went to get some food and he sat in front of me.  "Don't you want any food" he asked me.  I shook my head.  "Can we be friends" he asked.  You seemed shocked, and asked "is this a trick?".  He shook his head and said " of course not".  "I would like to be your friend" I replied.  He handed me a piece of paper with a bunch of numbers.  It was his phone number.  "If you ever need me, or just want to talk to someone, then text or call me.  I nodded my head and slipped the piece of paper in my pocket. 

Before I knew it, it was the end of the day.  Me and Daniel walked home together and he walked me to my house.  I waved goodbye to him as he walked off.
