Chapter 4: A night together

It has been three weeks since Kurosaka and Misa had become friends. During those three weeks she became very popular, and befriended two friends named Akio and Hikaru. "Misa-chan! Let's go to karaoke tonight!" Said Akio. "Ok." Misa said smiling. "Oh I just remembered! Misa put this on your phone!" Akio said. "This is so cute. What is it?" Misa said. "This is a dango character charm strap." Akio said. "Thanks Aiko-san, I'll put it on right now." Misa said as she took out her phone. "Oi! Are you just going to sit there and talk all day." Hikaru said. "Oh, sorry. I guess we should get going." Akio said. All three of them changed back to their clothes, and headed out the locker room. "Misa we should have a sleep over on Saturday, it's going to be fun! We can do makeovers, watch movies, eat, and talk about boys!" Akio said as she looked at Misa. "E-Eh!? B-But you both have boyfriends." Said Misa flustered. "So it don't matter. Plus don't you like Aoi-kun?" Akio said teasingly. "N-No I don't. Plus I don't think he would ever like a girl like me." Misa said. "A girl like you? You are beautiful, you're stinking rich, you're an awesome person, smart, and very kind. I'm pretty sure any girl would want to be you."Akio said. "Speak of the devil. Didn't think we would run in to him." Hikaru said grinning. Both girls turned around, and Akio grinned mischievously. "Hey Aoi!" Akio said. Kurosaka looked up and headed towards them. "Hey, what are you guys up too?" Aoi said. "We are going that karaoke place that opened up. Now that you're here, how about you come with us!" Akio said. "Uh, I don't know I got things to do." Aoi said. "Come on! You're always studying, how about you relax for a bit." Akio said. "I guess I can take a break." Aoi said. "Ok let's go then!" Akio said as she took Aoi by the hand and pulled him close to Misa, but as he was pulled he tripped and fell on her instead. "I-I'm sorry Hijime-chan, I-I didn't mean to fall on you." Aoi said as he averted his eyes. "I-It's alright it was on accident. B-But Kurosaka-kun can you move your hand from m-my chest?" Misa said embarrassed. "I-I-I'm s-sorry! I didn't mean too, that was improper of me!" Aoi said as he got up and held out his hand. "L-Like I said it wasn't your fault." Misa said as she took his hand. "Hahahahaha, wow Aoi I didn't know you would go that far as to touch her!" Akio said laughing. "Akio stop messing with them, this wouldn't happen if you wouldn't of pulled him in the first place." Hikaru said as she pinched Akio's cheeks. "Ow! I fet it kwow, fet we go mow. Lemme go mow!" Akio said as she tried to get away from Hikaru. As Hikaru let go, Akio rubbed her red cheeks. "Well we should get going now, I don't want to arrive and for it to be full of people." Hikaru said as she dragged Akio with her. "Wait for us Hikaru." Misa said as she chased after Hikaru. "O-Oi, don't leave me behind too." Aoi said as he chased for them too. They arrived fifteen minutes later to the new karaoke place, however just as Hikaru said all the rooms were occupied. "You idiot I told you to hurry up. Why did you have to stop and pet that dog!?" Akio said to Hikaru. "I couldn't just leave that poor dog alone, plus we wouldn't be that late if you didn't try to tease Aoi and Misa."Hikaru protested. "Whatever, well since it's full let's go eat ramen instead, we aren't that far away from the shop." Akio said as her eyes gleamed. "Fine as long as we eat something. I'm sorry Misa-chan it seems we have to go some other day." Hikaru said walking to the ramen shop. "It's fine there are other days, plus I still get to spend time with you all." Misa said smiling. "You're too good for us, Misa you're so adorable." Akio said as she hugged Misa. They arrived at the shop and ordered, after eating Hikaru and Akio said their goodbyes and left; leaving Misa and Aoi alone together at night. "Well um since I don't live far from you how about I walk you, I wouldn't want you walking alone at night." Aoi said embarrassed. "S-Sure, I appreciate it. Thank you for coming, I was happy you came along." Misa said blushing. Aoi looked at her and blushed, both walked on the quiet streets and had no courage to speak anymore. Misa looked up and stared at his face, she felt nervous and yet at ease. 'He is so handsome, I just love his raven hair. I wish I could just touch it, and his blue eyes are beautiful. How can he ever love me? They say I'm beautiful and stuff, but I don't think he would date a girl who stands out a lot. Kurosaka it would be selfish of me, but if you were mine I would never let you go.' Misa thought still staring. Kurosaka turned his head at her, but as he did they locked eyes. "I-I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to stare." Misa said flushed and turned her head away. "U-Uh its ok, um s-so what were you thinking of?" Kurosaka said flustered. "W-well, I-I was thinking about how wonderful of a friend you have been." Misa said averting his gaze. "O-Oh well thank you, you've also been an amazing friend." He said looking up in the sky. Both fell silent again and continued walking to their destination, and as they were walking both came across a vending machine. "Hijime-chan wait here I'll be right back." Aoi said as he walked to the vending machine. He then came back with two cans of coffee. "Here you go Hijime-chan, I bought you one since I thought you would be thirsty." Aoi said handing her the coffee. "Y-You didn't have to do that! I'll pay you right now!" Misa said flustered as she took out her money pouch. "No it's fine, there is no need to pay me back. Think of it as gift." Aoi said as he sat down on the nearby bench. "T-Thank you Kurosaka-kun. However, why should I think of it as a gift?" Misa said as she sat down next to him. "It's for letting me spend time with you this day, and for being a kind friend." Aoi said blushing. Misa was lost for words, she just sat there flustered. She looked at him and tugged on his shirt, he turned around and both locked eyes. "Kurosaka-kun thank you for everything, I don't how to repay for your kindness. You have always been there for me, and I'm sorry if I'm a bother to you." Misa said shyly as she looked down. Aoi stared at her patted her head, "You were never a bother, I'm actually glad I have met you." Aoi then hugged her. Misa was shocked and froze trying to comprehend what just happened. Aoi let her go and got up to throw his can away, Misa did the same and both continued to walk. They finally reached her house and she thanked him for coming. "I'll see you tomorrow Kurosaka-kun, I'll be waiting in the morning for you." Misa said smiling. "Alright then, I'll be waiting then." Aoi said smiling back. Before he was about to leave Misa kissed him on the cheek and ran inside flustered. Aoi stood there shocked and happy, he touched were her lips had touched him. He then started to head home, and Misa watched him from her window.
