Chapter 32

Ramin left the room with Summer, well, not leave. The doctors kicked him out.

They said that Sierra had just passed out and that she's perfectly fine, but they have to do a small surgery to get her placenta out. The nurses had assured him that this wouldn't hurt her in anyway and they've done it many times before, so it's completely safe.

Ramin entered the waiting room where the cast of Les Miz, the cast of Phantom, Ramin's family, Sierras family, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Cameron were waiting.

"So?" Everyone said at the same time.

Ramin sat down and put his head in his hands for a minute, taking a breather. He couldn't help but he nervous about Sierra in surgery.

Once he was fine, he looked up at everyone and smiled, remembering his little boy who was being cleaned and evaluated. "It's a boy." He stated simply, earning a cheer from everyone.

"But Ramin," her mom spoke up, "why are you out here and not with Sierra?"

"Ramin," Sierras father yelled, Ramin looked down to his lap, "did you abandon my daughter, your wife, after she just gave birth for all those hours?!" He shouted.

"Sierra had an asthma attack an she passed out. She's having surgery to get the placenta out." He whispered, feeling tears fall down his cheeks.

"Oh my gosh," Sierras mom gasped, "will she be alright?"

"The doctors said the surgery is perfectly fine and safe." Ramin didn't want to take their questions anymore.

He simply and quietly got up and walked to the nursery section of the hospital. There, he found his little boy, looking healthy and beautiful. He put his hand on the glass panel as a single tear ran down his cheek.

His baby was right in front of him in the front row, so it was clear that his baby had seen him. He reached his tiny stubs of arms towards Ramin and smiled.

Ramin's heart melted, and he prayed that he could hold him. His prayers were answered when Sierras nurse came over and laid a hand on his shoulder, "Would you like to hold him?" Ramin nodded eagerly. "Go to the room and I'll bring him in."

Ramin nearly ran back to Sierras room. When he entered and saw that Sierras bed wasn't there, his heart broke, but it was put back together when the nurse entered.

Already, the little boy reached his arms out to Ramin. "I guess he likes you already." The nurse chimed quietly, handing him over to Ramin.

Ramin immediately sat down and gazed at the baby. "Hi." He whispered, brushing his thumb along his cheek. "I'm your daddy. You're mommy will be here soon. I love you." The little boy opened his mouth and swung his arms around a bit and Ramin chuckled a bit.

"Mr. Karimloo," the nurse came in the room for a second, "I'm just going to ask that you go in the waiting room for a few minutes. The doctor just wants to get your wife back in and hook her up to a few machines." Ramin just glanced down at the baby and didn't want to let him go. The nurse chuckled, reading his mind, "you can bring your baby."

Ramin smiled triumphantly and got up, walking with the nurse to the waiting area. "I'll come back when your allowed back in the room." Ramin nodded, sitting back down.

He paid no attention to the hoards of people around him, just to his little boy. Then he realizes that he doesn't have a name. Ramin and Sierra talked about names for boys and girls and they settled on two. For a girl, Addison. And for a boy, Ethan.

Ramin assumed that his name would be Ethan because Sierra fell in love with that name, but he didn't want to call him that if that wasn't what Sierra wanted.

So, everyone sat in silence and stared at the baby until the nurse would let him back in. Again, Ramin practically ran back to her room.

Sierra was laying on the bed, her eyes closed. He couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked. She had sweat beating down her forehead and neck from working so hard to push 'Ethan' out for such a long time. Ramin could tell that she looked exhausted so he didn't make any noise when he sat down.

But, right as he did, Sierras eyes shot open. "No, darling, go back to sleep."

"Let me see him." She demanded, and Ramin couldn't fight that. He sat down on the edge of the bed and handed the baby to her.

As soon as Sierra laid eyes on him, tears sprung out of her eyes. "He's beautiful."

"I agree." Ramin gave Sierra a couple minutes of silence before speaking up. "He needs a name."

"Ethan." Sierra replied immediately. Ramin nodded and kissed Sierras forehead. "You like that?" She replied in her best baby voice, "do you like your name?" In reply, Ethan just opened his mouth and waved his arms around. "Good."

She craned her neck down and pressed a kiss to his head. "My little boy." She whispered. "Can our families come in now?"

"Anything you want." She nodded eagerly. "I'll go get them." Right when Ramin left the room, Ethan have out a huge cry.

"Oh no, no. Don't cry baby. Shh," she rocked him back and forth but his cries wouldn't stop. "Do you want me to sing for you?"

She cleared her voice and delicately sang, "Catch a falling star

And put it in your pocket

Never let it fade away..." She went on with the little lullaby until he was sound asleep.

Sierra pressed another soft kiss to his forehead as the door opened. "Everyone stay quiet," she whispered, "he just fell asleep."

Both families crowded around her bed and smiled at them. Sierra handed Ethan to Ramin and laid back in bed. As she did, she gasped for air. Ramin jumped and ran to her side, but Sierra wasn't fazed.

The doctor had had told her that since she hadn't been taking her medicine for a while that now an then her throat could close up. All she ha to do was take deep breaths and stay calm.

So, after their families saw Ethan, Ramin's cast came in, then Sierras cast. Sierra asked her mom to pick up the kids from the penthouse so that they could meet their new sibling.

The kids came in loud and excited to meet their brother. "Everyone sit on the bed." Sierra said gently. The three kids climbed onto the foot of the bed with huge smiles. "So, your new sibling is a boy. His name is Ethan." Sierra informed them, they all nodded.

Jaiden held him first, with a tiny bit of help from Ramin. Then Ramin sat down with Hadley in his lap and let him hold Ethan for a while. While that happened, Jade crawled over and sat on Sierras lap. "Mommy, can I hold him?" Sierra smiled, kissing her head and nodding.

Jade prepared to hold Ethan, and when Ramin out his in her arms, Sierra made sure that her arms were around Jade and Ethan. "He's so small." She squealed, giggling.

"Yes he is." Sierra smiled, kissing her head again. She yawned, just realizing how tired she was. This didn't go unnoticed by Ramin.

"Kids, why don't you jump off and let mommy sleep?" Sierra was thankful to be able to get some sleep.

My family is completely complete.
